The Challenge whitening runs a dry cleaning and laundry service centres all over the city. Customers can go over to one of their centres, give clothes for washing or dry-cleaning and get a date on which they can come back to pick them up. They need to get the best experience out there for their customers.

Insights on service Washing, ironing is a daily process and is most demanding. Sarees and shirts are given for starching; usually the expensive and dress that are emotionally attached. Starching is also called as fabric softening. Dry cleaning is usually reserved for speciďŹ c clothes and usual clothes with stains difďŹ cult to remove. The service can take about 2 days to a week based on the store. People give more clothes for drycleaning while festivals, family functions and auspicious occassions

It takes an hour to reach office, so morning are quite busy with getting for work and making her children ready for school. Still, she still manages to make breakfast and lunch for her, husband and children in the morning.

Started his own business 15 years ago in a town industrial area. It takes two hours to reach his factory. His factory timing is 9am - 5pm, but he reaches by afternoon to check the assembly lines, workers and finances.

Smartphone is an integral part of her life. Still she is not very tech savvy, but knowledgeable enough to pay bills online. She keeps reminders to schedule payments. Though she can afford a washing machine, she find it very convenient to just give laundry to a dhobi coming to collect clothes in their apartment. She is very particular about treating clothes. Dry cleaning is also given to the same person, but is packed separately. She has asked for dhobi to return clothes to neighbour because of her office timings.

He uses a smartphone and a normal phone. The smartphone works as his address book and does payments online. He prefers meeting people directly than having a video call. He believes a human approach can bring out a better connection with people. Daily use clothes are given for washing in the morning. He gives it as a bundle for the person to sort out. Occasionally; suits, children’s uniforms, family partywear is given for dry cleaning. He usually drops at the laundry centre in the morning before going to office. All his family’s clothes are given for washing. He prefers talking to the laundry store’s reception.

He orders food from Zomato, goes to his ofďŹ ce on UBER and shops with PayTM. though enthusiastic and full of energy, he is lazy when it comes to cleaning his room and washing clothes. He books online the closest laundry service when clothes become too smelly to wear.

Apps in the market Extensively studying interaction, layout and aesthetic of current market, i found each app having it’s own qualities. While laundrokart worked in less screens, laundrykart topped with an extensive list of cloth types and visibility. Toolr gave different options for the service while i found the pickmylaundry app’s service duration quite curious.
