CHAIRMAN’S REPORT Welcome to the world of virtual reality. The reality JOHN COOMBER is that there will Chairman be virtually no VCC branch activity for the next two to three months. You will all have seen the cancellation of events over the past week and will have had my updated message from Tuesday 24 March. Our website is updated as there is any information and I would urge you all to visit the website on a regular basis so you can keep up to date with any changes to the current situation. There are about 300 members of this branch for whom we do not have an email address. Rosalie Brown has organised telephone contact with these people and as a result we have more email addresses. If you know of a member who does not have access to a computer or an email address, can you please keep in contact with them so they can be kept up to date with branch affairs as soon as possible. We all have a part to play in this while the current situation exists. I must reiterate that there will be no branch activity whatsoever while our country is at level 4 alert and operating under emergency powers. There should be no reason for any members to visit Cutler Park until this restriction is lifted, except for Mike Foster and anyone who needs to assist him if there is an urgent maintenance issue arising. We will be checking security footage to check if there is any unauthorised entry to the premises. The branch committee will conduct our monthly PAGE 6

meetings over the telephone and by email. Any issues arising should be referred to the Secretary by email and the committee will respond appropriately. As Copy Print has closed down, like most businesses, we are unable to print the Hub this month, but it will be forwarded by email to all members and will be available on our website. I want to thank Alan and Shirley Wills for their kind offer to collate and post the Hub this month once they were aware that the noggin night would be cancelled. Copy Print closing down has saved them a huge amount of work. Decisions on production of the Hub will be made each month until normality resumes, but if a full Hub is not produced, you will all get an update of the situation in the form of a reduced Hub for information purposes. A decision will be made at a later date about another possible date for our AGM if we are still at Level 4 alert in June. The required notices and nomination forms will be in the Hub so that in the event of postponement of the AGM , a new meeting can be called as quickly as possible. A calendar of events will be produced but will have to be flexible and reduced in line with the circumstances we now face. This is an opportunity for you all to think about the future of our branch and whether you could offer your service as a branch committee member when the AGM takes place. At least three current committee members will not be seeking re-election, and that includes me, as I feel that three years as Chairman is enough for the branch, and some fresh blood would be welcome. After 28 years serving on the branch and national committees, I need

A NOTE FROM THE

TREASURER a break. Rest assured, I will be there to support the new committee and help with the National AGM and 75 year celebration to be held in Christchurch in August 2021. Please look after yourselves and stay isolated while the current situation remains. Phone and email each other to keep in contact. Remember, you are probably saving a lot of petrol in the next few months with all our events cancelled.

SECRETARY’S REPORT

ROD THROWER Secretary ph 03 338 2320

Like every thing else the Executive meeting in Wellington has been postponed so there is nothing to report.

I would just like to say that this month I have attended three funerals on behalf of the Branch that have been held at our Club rooms at McCleans Island for Branch Members. Lets hope this is all for some time. Though these are very sad occasions I was overwhelmed by the appreciation of the families and friends who came to me and thanked us for making this wonderful facility available to them for their farewells to their loved ones. One member’s family had said that their late husband/father wished, in his reclining years, to join the parts shed team on Wednesdays and be part of this wonderful fellowship that is so prevalent out there. This wasn’t to be ,but by holding his memorial at the Island the family as a whole got to see the place he was so passionate about. Well so much for thinking I was going to have a quiet time these last couple of weeks. Things have been on going, what with all the info coming through from National Office, re Covid-19 and rally cancellations. Rosalie has been flat out compiling Beaded Wheels and our Hub newsletter both of which have not been able to be printed PAGE 8

this month. We will be relying solely on the email system to distribute them to members. Canterbury Branch have been asked to offer our email, mail out systems to the Club to enable this to happen. This has meant some extra work for Julie and Jo to update approx 8,500 members to receive Beaded Wheels and any other correspondence from our National President Diane Quarrie and committee. These publications are also available on the club website free to anyone until we can resume printing them. All Branch Secretaries will have been flat out trying to update our membership records to include all updated emails. I would just like to thank Rosalie and her son, Pete, for the work they are putting in for the Canterbury Branch, I could not have done this alone. Well on that note I shall slip back into isolation and catch up with you all soon. Stay Safe

WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE YOUR HUB VIA EMAIL? We are trying to save the club some money on postage. If you have enjoyed reading the April issue of The Hub electronically and are happy forego the printed version in future then please fill in the online form at www.canterburybranchvintagecarclub. org.nz/newsletter-the-hub

Vintage Car Club of New Zealand Incorporated Dear Member As you will be aware the COVID-19 crisis has had an impact on almost every aspect of life in New Zealand and the Vintage Car Club is no exception. This unprecedented and previously unimaginable situation is evolving daily, if not hourly. I sent an email out to branches on Tuesday advising that it was important that we took our time to evaluate options and to make the right decisions for our members, rather than knee jerk reactions. You will be aware that the Government has now issued a ban on groups exceeding 100 in number but that may be reduced further going forward. Expert advice is saying that the peak of the pandemic could possibly be as late as August. The Management Committee of the Vintage Car Club held an emergency meeting last night to discuss the crisis and the effects on upcoming national and branch events. In relation to the Vero International Festival of Historic Motoring, in conjunction with the Festival Director Greg Terrill, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Festival until early 2022. This decision was not taken lightly. Due to the uncertainty around how long it will take for the pandemic to run its course and the potential of facing a financial loss, if due to lack of entries the event had to be cancelled, it is the right decision to make. The Executive Meeting which was due to be held in Wellington on Saturday 28 March is also cancelled and we have also decided that our National Day Daffodil Rally will also not go ahead for 2020. I also had no option yesterday but to cancel the National North Island Easter Rally and by

now all entrants should have been directly contacted by the event organisers. During the next week or so we will be contacting the organisers of national events that are being held later this year and early next year to discuss what options we have in relation to those events. We will keep you posted on that. Because the International Rally will now not be held in 2021 it does give us room to move national events into next year. Some branches have already made the hard decision to cancel meetings, club nights, branch runs and events and even to postpone annual general meetings. A communication has gone out to all branches today with a strong recommendation that they also review all of their events with a view to cancelling or postponing them, at least until the end of June or until the situation improves. The club website and Facebook page along with branch websites will keep you updated and the next issue of Beaded Wheels will have up-to-date information as of going to print. I hope you understand the reason for these actions. Over half of our members are in the high risk bracket in terms of this pandemic. The cancellation of events now will mean that we’ve done our very best to keep our members safe. Best regards and stay safe. Diane Quarrie National President

AUTUMN RUN UPDATE Firstly a big thank you to all of the members who had entered the event which unfortunately we have had to postpone because of the COVID 19 epidemic and what could happen if we hold this event at this time. Thank you for your support for this decision and I trust that most of you will be able to attend the run at a later date maybe later on in the year, at this stage this will depend on what happens in the near future.

NEALE COOK P Group Convenor popularity of this event we will be looking for date options to run this rally later this year once we are allowed to travel freely again.

9-90’s REPORT Les Sloan organised the March trip. How do these people find such fantastic collections or something different to have a look at? We are very lucky to have them in the 9-90s. The day started off dry, cold and windy. We left from Rolleston and how Rolleston has grown over the last few years! We had a pleasant ride through the countryside and our first stop was Alan Johnston’s collection of petrol pumps right from the really early ones. Thank you Alan for your hospitality. Then on through the handicaps of roadworks and tree trimmers until we finally arrived at Graham Dodd’s place. What a fabulous collection of race cars, rare cars and mopeds and scooters. Cars from a BMW Isetta through to a Japanese hearse and what a hearse! Just to see that made the day. The collection is too big to mention everything but I was intrigued to see a Trabant and a Nissan PAO and they are all shining and beautifully presented. Around the walls all sorts of memorabilia and collections were a feast for your eyes. Thank you Graham.

JOHN KUIPERS 9-90’s Coordinator

The weather held out for lunch. We had a good raffle and counted 40 cars. Les donated the entry fees of $84 to The Friends of Ellesmere Hospital. Thanks Les. To all the people who participate in 9-90s we are cancelling the April and May outings it is with great regret we are having to do this. The team and I are looking forward to the next outing the sooner the better. George Nimmo has already offered to do next year April and Ray Maginness will do the same. Kind regards and the best of Health to you all. FUTURE EVENTS Please check your emails or the club website for any cancellation of our future trips.

COMMERCIAL REPORT Thanks to Graeme Shaskey for hosting the March commercial noggin, it was good to catch up with those who attended and have the usual look around the garage and workshop.

NEIL SHASKEY Commercial Convenor Obviously in the current circumstances there won’t be a commercial noggin in April, hopefully we can reschedule our planned visit for a later month, in the meantime best of luck for your time at home.

MEMBER PROFILE

ROD THROWER BRANCH SECRETARY

Well I suppose it all started when I got my Drivers licence at 15 years old. I wanted to buy a neighbour’s 1920/30s Dodge for £80 but my parents were against it, so I went out and bought a brand new Victa 50cc scooter which I then managed to crash and break my leg. I later owned 50cc Step thru Honda and Triumph Tiger Cub. My first car in 1962 was a 1946 Worsley 10 which was black. I thought a nice white strip down the side with pom poms around the back window would add to the boy racer image. This was followed by an array of vehicles, Ford Consul Mk1, FE Holden, Ford V8 clubman, 1936 Morris 8 sports, 1936 Austin 7, Wolseley 1300, early Austin A35, Morris Oxford, 1938 Chev sedan, 1939 Chev sedan deluxe, Mitsubishi Sigma, Honda Accord, Honda Civic, Honda 5 cylinder Inspire, 2006 Kia Magentis, and

last but not least 1928 Model A Tudor. The Model A Tudor was bought in 2007 from a person who had the intention of converting it into a hot rod. The idea of buying a Model A came when I was invited to attend an Irishman Rally with my son in his Model A back in 2007. On the way home I said ‘Boy I’ve got to get one of these’ I had so much fun. I believe the car was originally a 1929 Model but was restored by Jeff Clare back in the 1960s as a 1928 AR, it still has the ‘29 body I believe. I have done very little to the body work other than taking some rust out from under one door and tiding up the bottom of the pillars. Mechanically I have rebuilt the car right though over the last nine years. There have been a couple of minor refinements to improve the experience of

PAGE 15

the Irishman Rally which can always be put back to original if required. Modern shocks, and webbing in the front seats instead of the springs. Blinkers, oversized handmade wheel nuts and cast iron brake drums. After the first rally of 400 miles where we used 11 litres of engine oil it was decided to have a look at the internals of the engine. As the motor ran quite quietly it was decided by Coombes to rebore and do up the top end with the crank being undisturbed. This lasted approx 13,000 miles until I the main center bearing collapsed playing boy racers at Pete’s Patch on Irishman two years ago. On inspection I had to replace the original block with a new second hand three cam bearing block owing to many cracks around the center bores.

PAGE 16

The rest of the mechanical parts have been overhauled right through although a new second gear would not go astray. I have attended 14 Irishman Rallies, 13 in my own car and I look forward to many more. My neighbour who advises and helps me to maintain the car is my co driver on this annual southern soujourn and we always try and take another passenger every year to give people the experience of this amazing event. We look forward to joining in many more of these events over the next few years. Rod & Lynda Thrower

MOTORCYCLE REPORT Well! What a month so far! I was supposed to be on a cruise ship as I finish this off, but thanks to COVID-19… PAST EVENTS

29th February – Fish & Chip Run. This clashed with the VCC Branch Annual Rally. As the day was misty rain first thing, and only four people fronted up to the start it was decided to cancel the run.

11th March – Noggin Night. Held out at the Social Corner, Cutler Park. Cool night, so the fire was lit, and it kept the chill at bay. About a dozen of the regulars there.

14th March – Moped Run. About 16 turned up for this event, see elsewhere for the report. Thanks to Kurt & Sharon Ebrecht for organising, backing up, and the morning tea on the way.

20th – 22th March 2020, Jim Toohey Rally. Cancelled.

28th March – Fish & Chip Run. Cancelled FUTURE EVENTS

5th April – P Group Rally. Cancelled. 8th April – Noggin Night. , Cancelled. The current lockdown is due to finish about 23 April, but it may be extended. If it is extended then some or all of the following events may be effected. The running of the events below will be entirely dependent on the rules once the lockdown is over.

25th April – Fish & Chip Run. Cancelled 26th April – Scooter and Motorcycles up to 250 cc Run. Leaving Pomery’s, Cnr Kilmore & Fitzgerald Ave, 10.00 am. Graham Barnett PAGE 18

organising; phone 027 240 6297. No formal entry form, just turn up at the start.

13th May – Motorcycle Noggin Night, nothing planned so far, so keep an eye on the next Hub to see what is in store.

24th May - Motorcycle Ruff Run. Held out at Cutler Park, it takes the form of bringing out your old dunger, or otherwise “interesting” bike where you can give it a run without the niceties of Reg or WOF as required for the road. Also a good event to bring your kids/grandkids and teach them to ride a motorbike in complete safely.

30th May – Fish & Chip Run. This is the Saturday of Queens Birthday weekend. Meet at the BP petrol station, Cnr Moorhouse & Antigua St, 10.15 am for a 10.30 am departure. As usual, riders’ choice on destination.

10th June – Motorcycle AGM and Noggin. Held in The Barn, Cutler Park, McLeans Island, commencing 7.30 pm. More on this in the May Hub. That is all the goss for this month, the days are closing in and definitely getting cooler, so wrap up warm on the bike.

from the EDITOR

VELOSOLEX OWNERS GROUP

When is a newsletter not a newsletter?

March non event

Over the last few days I will have spoken to many of you as we furiously rang around trying to boost the number of valid email addresses in the club’s database. For the foreseeable future email is our preferred form of club communication. We realise this places those members without access to a computer at a huge disadvantage but unfortunately, until government restrictions change, we will have to settle for the status quo.

An apology to all our avid readers, we were doomed for the month of March - no ride, no tales to tell and no adventures for the lads. Noel Nevin had planned a great ride and visit for us supposedly to be held on 10 March and wouldn’t you know it after weeks of warm fine days that particular Tuesday was WET grrr. So plan B was put in place to do the ride the next week and yes you guessed it once again rain was predicted, but it never really came to anything, too late we had to cancel the plans on the Monday, so we decided to settle on the 24th hoping things would be set for that day. But that was the day when New Zealand as we knew it had changed for some time to come.

The good news is - you will still be able to receive The Hub and Beaded Wheels - the bad news is, they will be less tactile and won’t decorate your coffee table. As well as links sent via email both publications are available on the club and branch websites. A quick plea from your editor: If you find yourself with some spare time, why not consider putting pen to paper and writing something for The Hub or Beaded Wheels. Both publications are going to be short on copy for the next couple of issues. I would welcome anything you can send my way. It would be great to have news of what you have been working on in the shed over our enforced quarantine. Send contributions to: vccthehub@gmail.com or if you have an article and good photos that would have a wider appeal then please email it to beadedwheels@vcc.org.nz

VOG1 had made a huge decision on Saturday March 21st after hearing the Prime Minister’s announcements and the plan for Level 2 for the age group 70 and over to stay home as much as possible (this encompassed most of us ole bikies). All future VOG runs for the foreseeable future would be put on hold until New Zealand and the world gets to the other side this unprecedented event of COVID- 19. Until better days are upon us this is VOG 1 signing off. ROYCE VOG 1

Well I’m off to mix myself another quarantini – cheers. ROSALIE PAGE 19

ANNUAL RALLY 2020

16 FEBRUARY 2020

CASUAL SUNDAY A SUCCESS After a slow start to registrations had the Annual Rally organisers slightly concerned, a deluge towards the end of the cut-off period certainly confirmed there is still much interest in supporting this key event for our branch. With 82 entrants, the event is still indeed popular, especially now that the two-day format has been revised by Katryna Shaw and her willing team of helpers. Proceedings got underway on Saturday 29 February with everyone arriving at Cutler Park for morning tea – an informal way to start the weekend. Although slightly showery, the weather was looking promising, and everyone was happy chatting in groups around the hall and the assembled cars. It was immediately obvious that good numbers of vehicles from all eras were taking part, with an encouraging number of veteran and vintage included – PAGE 20

right through to the Post-1980 era with Colin and Helen Clutterbuck’s 1984 Ford Laser being the most modern club-eligible car entered. The plan was to have vehicles depart at 30-second intervals from 10.30am, and once the clocks were calibrated the runs began. Three routes were available – all finishing at the South Brighton domain. The shortest was fairly-much the most direct route there; the medium route went through Halswell and then through the tunnel to Lyttelton and then back through Sumner; and the long route through Governors Bay, Lyttelton and Sumner and then back to Brighton also. However, all of the routes first completed a timed section that ended in West Melton, where Colin Hey was sitting waiting to time everyone as they went past. A few people had their rally numbers upside-down or somewhere where they

Paul Seaton (1922 Dodge) awaits instruction from Fraser Kear in the first of the field trials

couldn’t be seen, but fortunately he was able to identify everyone at the finish, so nobody missed out. Unfortunately one car suffered a broken axle climbing the hill towards Dyers Pass, but everyone else successfully completed the routes and arrived in Brighton Domain by midday. By then the weather had completely cleared, and it was sunny and warm for everyone enjoying their picnic lunch there. Covid-19 would have stood no chance of transmission, as there was a huge amount of room and everyone was well spread-out around the park. At around 2pm Katryna gathered everyone together to wrap up the day’s activities, and to give a heads-up for Sunday’s arrangements. After that people left at their leisure, some choosing to stay on longer and enjoy the lovely weather. Sunday’s arrangements were very relaxed, with field tests and concours judging to complete in the morning before a BBQ lunch and some entertainment into the early part

of the afternoon. Once again the weather was perfect, and cars began arriving from about 9.30am to allow activities to get underway. All of those who chose to enter the competitive events (around 50% of entries) had their cars scrutinised, and were then run through the three field tests. With that out of the way it was time to relax around the barn, where a local musician performed for us while lunch was prepared and enjoyed by everyone. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the musician, but he was very, very good – the music was entirely appropriate for our group, and played loud enough to enjoy it but not so loud that it spoiled normal conversation. A great lunch was put on – thanks to Wayne Stocks who looked after the BBQ, and to Gay Goodman and her hard-working team in the Barn kitchen. As I looked around the outside of the barn at everyone enjoying the lunch and the entertainment, I couldn’t help but think that all of our founder members who worked so hard in the early years of Cutler Park would be smiling down on us PAGE 21

seeing our facilities being used in such an enjoyable way. By 1.30pm all of the results had been worked out, and Katryna announced all of the winners, with trophies on hand to present to all of the concours winners. The winner’s certificates for all of the awards were presented at the March Noggin, and the final winners list is shown below. Congratulations to you all. There is absolutely no doubt that there is still a place for the Annual Rally in our calendar of events, and that the format that has been adopted for the last two years by Katryna is popular. Here’s hoping we’ll all be free and able to get out and enjoy next year’s one.

REAR WHEEL BRAKE RALLY 2020

KAY & JIM

Sunday, 8 March, 2020 9.30am. We assembled at Cutler Park to enjoy delicious scones and muffins supplied by the Sword Family. There were two routes on offer for 22 vehicles. We opted for the 40 mile route with some shingle. With the hood down and the sun out we motored along Old West Coast Road, through Waddington, Sheffield and on to Pig Saddle Road. What a picturesque stretch of the countryside (and a road we have never been on - amazingly). Driving on passed Whitecliffs Camping Ground to our lunch stop at Steventon Homestead. This historic category two homestead was built in 1855 and substantially enlarged in 1866 by Frederick Broome and his author wife Lady Mary Ann Barker. We chose to sit in the shade and have our lunch. We had a very informative talk from the owner of the property Helen McArthur, she also read excerts from one of Lady

PAGE 24

Barker’s books about the property. Really interesting details about the interior of the house which we then were privileged to look through. Instruction sheets for the three afternoon rally routes were handed out as light rain commenced. Deciding to take the 37 mile middle route back to West Melton via Hororata and Darfield. The rain ceased, much to the delight of the navigator as the Rally Instruction Sheet was getting wet!! Our evening meal was at the Two Fat Possums and what a super meal it was. Some were struggling to finish and Doggie Bags were the order of the day. Once again Graeme and team you have organized a great day out. Thanks, Kaye and Jim (Gumdrops)

COLIN HEY Event Report

OCBC for March was another very successful gathering, and a big thanks to everyone who attended. Unfortunately I couldn’t be there due to being in Melbourne for the (cancelled) F1 Grand Prix, but I’ve had lots of good feedback. Apparently the coffee cart had trouble coping with the demand. A bonus was of course the fact that the Kustom Car Club were running their annual Swap Meet next door. Unfortunately, like our other events, OCBC will not continue for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19, but when this ghastly thing has abated please be assured we’ll start them up again. I personally am feeling pretty down about not having any events to attend, but at least there’s some more time available to spend in the shed so they’re ready to go when this thing passes – and it will! In the meantime, stay safe and keep in touch with your friends and family.

A man with a project: John Foster negotiating the purchase of a Model A valve lapping guide tool with Graeme Sword. John’s Model A is driveable but not on the road yet - here’s hoping he’s using the isolation time to move things ahead.

The coffee van was the hub of the activity.

Helen Clutterbuck andSue Somerton took the opportunity to have a chinwag.

Mike Burney used the morning to try and find a buyer for his 1949 Austin. PAGE 29

POLISHING POLISHING CHROME CHROME

Here are some general guidelines that should be followed when polishing the chrome on your old car. It is helpful to know a few details about the electroplating process this will make the importance of the proper polishing technique apparent. The electroplating process involves three separate applications of metal. The first step is to apply a fairly thick layer of copper. The copper bonds securely to the bare steel or pot metal and can be polished to a high lustre. This if followed by an application of nickel which makes the piece silvery in appearance and protects the copper layer from corrosion. On very early cars, the pieces were considered finished after the nickel was applied. Nickel has a golden tinge to it, while chrome is a bright shiny

silver colour. In the 1920s, manufacturers began to apply a top coat of chrome. The layer of chrome is very thin and measures only about 50 millionths of an inch in thickness. If the chrome on your car is dull, you must not use an abrasive to clean it. While chrome is very hard, it is so thin that an abrasive cut-polish or steel wool will damage it. If the chrome is removed, the underlying plating will show through and the piece will need to be re-plated to restore its appearance. You can wash, wax and polish the chrome to make it glisten but always avoid abrasive cleaners. First published in the Wairarapa Branch Zenith, April 2002.

25, 35, 50 and 60 year badges To be presented at the Branch Awards’ Dinner Saturday 12 September 2020 If you are eligible for these badges, please contact Leigh Craythorne, telephone 342 9110 or email craythornes@actrix.co.nz for the appropriate form. Members must provide the proof of having completed 25 years continuous membership themselves (as there were only limited records held at National level before the early 1990’s.) Eg You may have a copy of your nomination form or early membership list; the branch has bound copies of The Hub held in the library that may help you; ask the Branch Secretary’s permission to search the Branch Minutes; or I may be able to assist, as I have copies of some of the early membership lists.

Please attend to this and contact me as soon as possible as the badges have to be approved by the branch committee before being processed via National Office and forwarded to us from Wellington - delay may mean a wait until next year’s Awards’ Dinner for presentation. Members do not have to have been in the same branch for 25, 35, 50, 60 years – it is recognition for continuous membership of the Club.

Join our VCC Online Community If you have avoided joining an online community - now might be the time to consider giving it a go…

One of the strengths of our club is the huge variety of members we have up and down the country and even around the globe. To encourage interaction between members in different parts of New Zealand (and the world) we have created a facebook group that is attached to our vccnz facebook page. This is a place where members can post photos of the cars, ask for advice or share their restoration stories. It is a private group so you need to answer PAGE 32

some simple questions before you are given permission to join (this is not automated so you will need to wait for a response from our administrator). We also have decided to let non-members of the VCC join the group - we want our community to grow and be able to share the fun we have in our club with others. Join up with Facebook to get started - if this sounds daunting grab a neighbour, friend or grandkid, they will have you up and running in no time.

CANCELLATION NOTICE

MALVERN RUN ANZAC DAY

supported by DUTTON GARAGE

This event now cancelled. The rapidly evolving situation with Covid 19 means this event is now cancelled. As the organiser of this event my primary responsibility is to the health of the participants, their families, the community that attend the car display and the staff at the Willows Cafe at Glentunnel. It is disappointing as it is a well attended club event where we raised $2000 for the local RSA last year. We will explore every opportunity to find a date to hold the Dutton Garage Malvern Run later in the year.

To those people who have entered and paid please contact the Branch Treasurer (kevin. sarjeant@xtra.co.nz ) with your bank account details for a full refund. Thank you all for your understanding and I hope that by making this decision early you can now go ahead and make other arrangements for Anzac Day. In the meantime please follow the best medical advice and stay safe.

With over 175 vehicles and close to 500 people attending this event the decision has been made to put it on hold this year. I think you all understand the situation we are in and our reasoning does not need to be explained. Our winner and runner up had a great event organised and I am please to say they are on board to roll it out next year. Enjoy the next few weeks isolated to our garages. It not all that bad.
