9-90s Report April 2021

Arthur Bodger took care of this month’s outing and a good job he did too. We met at the New Brighton Club Carpark and we did a round trip over Evans Pass, Lyttelton, around the suburbs and we finished at the Barn. The weather was kind to us. We had 40 odd cars, a good raffle and a few new faces. Arthur had decided ahead that he would donate the entry fees to Nurse Maude. A big thank you from Nurse Maude, Arthur, and also a big thank you for organising a great day.

Kevin Templeton and his wife who live in Akaroa were two of the new faces and they intend to come more often. Kevin offered to organise a trip for us to Akaroa. I gave him the choice of a month in 2022 and so we will go to Akaroa in April. Then the Meikles came forward and wanted to claim February, and Tony Becker put his name down for March. Not to be outdone, George Nimmo is going to organise October. So if you are keen to organise an outing in 2022, give me a ring and you can pick your month.

May 12 Organiser, Tony Becker We will start from Cutler Park at 9.55am and we are going back to David Smith who is going to show us some cars that have not been on show before.

June 9 Ken and Ruth Hands Meet at the Peg Carpark, Belfast Hotel at 9.55am

July 8 The Annual Mid Winter Pot Luck Lunch at the Barn at 11am.
