CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

From this month until September we will be asking for volunteers for the many tasks that need doing – we hope that every fit and able member will step up and offer at least a couple of hours to help us make the event successful. A roster sheet will be available at noggins from now on so that you can choose a task that suits you. Please don’t hesitate to contact myself or Katryna Shaw (the Swap Meet Secretary) for any general matters, or Neil for any questions regarding sites.

THREE REASONS TO GET INVOLVED WITH SWAP MEET

1SUPPORT BRANCH FUNDRAISING

Canterbury Swap Meet provides over 75% of our branch operating income for the year. A successful swapmeet substantially impacts the financial viability of our branch - COVID-19 forced the cancellation of swapmeet last year so with your assistance we need to ensure this year’s event is a success.

2MEET NEW PEOPLE

Canterbury Swap Meet is the largest of its kind in the South Island, stall holders come from all over New Zealand to take part in a weekend of swapping and socialising.

3TWO HOURS OR THREE DAYS - ANY HELP ACCEPTED

Running swap meet takes hours of voluntary labour - if you are in a position to assist for a couple of hours or a day then please sign up at the roster sheets that will be floating around at noggins.
