In addition to compelling stories and vivid characters, we are determined to show that Bulgarians living either here or abroad can be united for the sake of their homeland’s future. In terms of fiction content, our local hit Dear Heirs, which set a new trend in media consumption and changed the audience and industry perception of the Bulgarian TV series, is set to continue with 70 new episodes and include even more intriguing story developments as well as new beloved actors. We have prepared a premium selection of acquired fiction titles as well. With regard to news and current affairs programs, I am proud that the bTV News is now recognized

more than ever as the number one source of reliable, independent and high quality reporting, proven by several independent market surveys. This fall we will deliver more tech and design solutions, along with augmented reality, 3D mapping and 360-videos, to present our news, current affairs and sports content in an even more attractive way. We will put extra effort into our multiplatform development and the synergies between TV, online and radio. The Farm, which best impersonates the national self-consciousness on TV, has given an equal chance to popular and unpopular people to become winners in their lives, reviving love for the country and bringing Bulgaria even closer to the hearts of many expats, who have decided to return to their homeland. The Farm has not only strengthened its positions as the highest rating fall reality show on the air, but has been growing in popularity with every season for the past three years. It has also made viewers regain the perception that reality formats can actually show the real things in life without focusing on scandals or sensations, naturally bringing victory to the most deserving competitors. Because The Farm welcomes everyone.

The automated ad buying in a digital environment is one of the leading trends on global markets. Now, Bulgaria too is joining the trend, with programmatic buying becoming an important part of the advertising budgets split. As a leader on the advertising market, bTV Media Group is technologically prepared to introduce and establish the latest trends and meet the demand of advertisers for more innovative methods to reach the most targeted audiences of each brand. To secure maximum efficiency for its advertisers, bTV Media Group has created a full set of tools to implement direct programmatic deals for display and video (preferred deals). and video advertising. This allows implementing a completely automated service flow optimization, increasing the campaigns‘ efficiency. Currently, a DMP (data management platform) system is being implemented — a platform to manage data, which collects, arranges and extracts structured information in a way that is highly useful for marketing experts, advertisers, media outlets, publishers, etc. Thus, very soon bTV Media Group will start offering its partners segmented audiences buying. Via bTV Media Group‘s strong video content, advertisers can take advantage of an efficient media environment to communicate their brands. bTV Web generates more than 80 million ad impressions per month, with video accounting for 1/3 of this figure. BULGARIA AND THE WORLD SET TO CLEAN THE PLANET ON SEPTEMBER 15TH Ever since its establishment, bTV Media Group has been initiating and supporting a range of social causes and projects to help Bulgarian children and youth, large groups of people facing crisis situations, and environment protection. For seven years now, the landmark campaign Let‘s Clean Bulgaria Together, initiated by bTV and implemented with the support of numerous partners, has been positioning us among the world‘s top performing countries in terms of best and most successful practices in environment care and protection.

Last fall, participants in Bulgaria‘s most massive voluntary initiative cleaned the impressive 3,582 spots. A total of 3,788 tons of waste were transported to waste depots, Ministry of Environment data showed. Some 305,401 people (nearly 50% more than in 2016), joined the big cleaning day to prove that Bulgaria is a team. Having improved their own record in 2017, the volunteers of Lets‘ Clean Bulgaria Together will join millions of people worldwide in the first ever World Cleaning Day on September 15, 2018. More than 115 countries have already confirmed they would participate in the initiative, with some 20 million people expected to join its local actions on all continents.

bTV MEDIA GROUP ON ALL PLATFORMS bTV Media Group has been building its multiplatform strategy with the firm confidence that television, online and radio platforms should work in perfect synergy, forming a complete cycle. Thus, content used in a way suitable for one of these platforms leads to rechanneling of users from TV to online, from radio to TV and so on. For advertisers, this translates into a more efficient access to a greater number of users, since they are thus positioned in an environment that is entirely dictated by content. A key precondition to grabbing the attention of users is to be perfectly aware of their interaction with brands — the so-called consumer journey. For media outlets, this consumption cycle means creating a multiplatform world

For example, the bTV News team meets this need by creating a product for each environment, giving viewers instant information on a device of their choice. This is achieved through live reports from hot events on the website btvnovinite.bg or short teasers and livestreams on bTV News‘ Facebook page. The investment in Dear Heirs is also part of bTV Media Group‘s multiplatform development strategy. The series has been innovatively planned to start at 6 pm, achieving remarkable results not only on air, but also online. For example, the first episode alone has registered 42,000 unique video views on the btvplus.bg platform, which has grown by over 270% from its performance in the exceptionally strong 2017 fall TV season.

The song „A Little Longer“ (Oshte Malko), performed by the show‘s leading actor Orlin Pavlov, has had over 1,000 rotations on all radio stations in Bulgaria in January, when the production kicked off, becoming the top played song on the radio air overall. Last but not least, the top products, which bTV Media Group acquires for its channels open up new opportunities for users and advertisers exclusively for the web.
