Jewellery branding for an self designed brand as part of a research and problem based brief on jewellery. The main focus of the brand was to have a traditional yet modern look because the jewellery being targetted to different age groups. It also needed to have a more feminine touch to it. All designs were created on Photohop and Illustrator.

Branding
The branding included a logo, business cards and designs for the bags, tags and boxes. The use of black worked as the key element with the vibrant pink working as a bold contrast and the beige soothing the overall design.

Vinyl Cover Design
Vinyl covers created for the annual Secret 7 which combines music and art for a good cause. I chose the track ‘Sledgehammer’ by Peter Gabriel. The theme of my designs was sentuality for which the elements chosen were honey and lemon. For the first design I used normal images and some illustrations to give it a realistic feel. The design was created on Adobe Photoshop and the illustrations on Adobe Illustrator.

Vinyl Cover Design
The second design was more based on a continues pattern design for which hexagon shapes of honey were used and illustrated shapes of the inside of lemons. The lemon illustrations were created on Adobe Illustrator and the overall design was created on Photoshop.
9
Typography
A typeface created from the sans serif typeface Helvetica with the specified word being broad. I used the ideas of ribbons being wrapped around the letters to broaden the overall shape however it being different breath at different points.
10
Typography
I expanded my design onto numbers and symbols from Helvetica and created the same theme of ribbons on them. Both the uppercase letters as well as numbers and symbols were created on Adobe Illustrator.

Book Cover Design
Redesigning of the book cover “Design As Art by Bruno Munari. My design showed one of the sketches made by the author himself which related to several essays in the book including cars and patterns. Only 2 colours were allowed to be used plus stock as the front cover was being screenprinted however the book jacket could have more colours.
