CSR INITIATIVE Run 4 A Girl Child - 3rd Edition Hyderabad

Run for Girl Child is a unique running event happening in Hyderabad for the 3rd time in Gachibowli stadium to support Kishori Vikas - unique initiative of Seva Bharathi, Telangana. Kishori Vikas works for adolescent girl children in slums and low-income groups by mentoring in Education, Healthcare, Self defense, skill development, and vocational training. This is the annual fundraising and awareness run.
The MISSION is to empower 10,000 girl children and have footprints in 400 slums by the year 2019 / 2020. The Run is organized in the following categories:

Sevabharathi is a nationwide social service organization involved in various activities which include education, health care, women empowerment, skill development and welfare homes among other things. Kindly note that we are registered u/s 80 G of Income Tax Act. Seva Bharathi is organizing it’s third edition of “ Run for a Girl Child” fund raising event on January 20th, 2019 at Gachibowli stadium, Hyderabad. You may be aware that the last two editions were hugely successful with good number of citizens participating for the cause. Our objective of spreading awareness about girl child education is bearing fruit in the areas where we are operating. With your cooperation we would be able to increase the number of end beneficiaries to 5000 girls. The proceeds of the sponsorship will be utilized for expanding the Kishori Vikas centers in the state and in improving the infrastructure in our residential hostels. This year’s event will be conducted on Jan 20th, 2019 from 6 AM; Events will constitute : 5K, 5K Family run, 10K, Half Marathon and Senior Citizens Run. Event will start at Gachibowli Stadium. About 10000 runners are expected. This year 10K & 21K will be timed to encourage professional runners. There is also a Senior citizens Run to promote health among our elderly. We request your enthusiastic participation, partnership and sponsorship to make the event a success. Kishori Vikas Yojana has been working for development of adolescent girls since 2005 and exclusive effort to stand by the adolescent girls in their struggles and growing in the following ways:
