Inauguration of Jignyasa Mobile Science Lab

Run4GirlChild 4th Edition Run4GirlChild 4th Edition got completed Successfully on 2nd February 2020 at GMC Balayogi Stadium at Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The run was flagged off by Justice Kodanda Ram and the DGP & Chairman of Road Safety Authority, Mr. Krishna Prasad. About eight thousand runners participated for full marathon, half marathon and the fun run. Six Hundred volunteers ensured that the run completed successfully and the participants get the best experience. The proceeds of the run will be used for supporting 10,000 girl child from the vulnerable sections of the Telangana State. Arround 500 Kishori Vikas beneficiaries participated in the event and demonstrated various cultural and self-defense skills. Harika Dronavalli - Arjuna awardee & Chess grand master awarded the winners. Corportes like Freedom Oil, Globaldata, Avineon, GGK Tech, Electronic Arts, NMDC, Capgemini, Manjeera Constructions, GEP, Genpact and many IT companies participated. Bhanumathi , Rashtriya Seva Bharathi committee member visits Madhava Seva Samithi, Yapral and Interacted with teachers & volunteers. She appreciated Cloth Bank which is being run by women , skill development center & nutrition program at Madhava Vidyalayam. Inauguration of Mobile Science Laboratory District Collector, Mancherial Smt. Bharathi Hollikeri, addressing the children while inaugurating the Mobile science lab Jignyasa. Mobile Science Lab is a joint initiative with Sevabharathi & Govt of Telangana. Most of the government schools do not have access to science lab & children are deprived of hands on learning. Mobile science lab instructors visits the schools in need as per the schedule & provide them access to mobile science lab. Visit of CSR Team of Global Data CSR team of Global Data visited & interacted with students of Zilla Parishad High School Suraram village . It was an inspiring experience for the students to interact with people from software industry. Sevabharathi Jignyasa team is indebted to Global Data for donating the Mobile Science lab vehicle. Volunteer Training Program Volunteers training program for Film Nagar zone coordinators held. Issues & priorities in working for Girl Child & social perceptions discussed.

Visit of Shri. Parag Abhyankar Akhila Bharatiya Seva Pramukh Sri Parag Abhyankar visits Vivekananda Vruthi Vidya Kendram (a women’s Skill development center in Kukatpally) & enquires about the nature of activity & the self help programs.
Play with Arithmetic Kids from Shapoor and Ramreddy Nagar got more clarity on types of numbers and symbols used in calculations at their KVK Centre. Nirvahak Priyanka Kumari and Paryavekshak Divya explained them very well and they also had three fun games in between. Samnvaykartha Navneetha supported and helped these coordinators in conducting the session. Launch of Mobile App A mobile app is launched by Sevabharathi and Janahita Seva Trust for the benefit of the blood donors and beneficiaries. Sanjeevani Mobile Dispensary Medical practitioners like Dr. Bhargav work with the Sanjeevani mobile dispensary thereby spreading awareness and providing treatment to the poorest of poor.
Global Data donated a SUV for Jignyasa Sevabharathi is privileged to have M/s Global Data as our Corporate partner. They have donated a Mahindra Scorpio SUV for using as Mobile Science van for the Jignyasa initiative. Currently Jignyasa is visiting 36 Government Schools and we are in pursuit of expanding to more schools. February through pictures
