SMC and IT team got together and created in-house Customer order management portal in a record time of 60 days before on boarding of customers. This was done on free Microsoft platform of sharepoint at a very miniscule cost. The cost of an equivalent Customer order management portal as quoted by many vendors was running into a few crores of rupees with lead time of 6 to 9 months. The same customer platform is still running in a robust manner as we have processed and executed more than 12,000 SRs and over 6,500 SOs using the same module. Many features and functionalities have been added and enhanced subsequently to the original version of BOOST by the same team in order to make it more user friendly and impactful. The module designed by this team is capable of generating reports and has also being integrated with RPPMSL's module to make the SR to RFAI process seamless and efficient. The team is also working now to integrate the module with Airtel and VIL's site order module.
