SETTLEMENT 1
Most of the quarries are abandoned once its resouces are depleted. This in one of the abandoned quarry located in Bettahalasuru on the outskirts of Bangalore, India. OBJECTIVE: The intention was to create an education center which focus on rejuvenate the dead quarry, spread awarness about dead quarries to the visitors and also employ the local labors who livelihood were dependent on quarry earlier.

HYPOTHESIS (OBJECTIVE) A design stand taken to discover a new method of living that doesn’t affect the nature and also provides a better state of mind for living (garden for every house) in a tight urban environment. A Building prototype that generate and uses its own energy and does not depend on energy sources from outside. It also incorporates food production through farming. It is proposed in a housing scheme as it would act as the recreational green place within the house for every individual.

HARVEST TIME FOR EACH PLANT CONCLUSION: Sunlight is the next generation energy source. Solar Energy is a non-polluting energy source and at the same time, the availability of it is infinite. So it is a very reliable energy source for future. This thesis is an exploration of a new built form which capture six hours of direct sunlight for farmlands in all months. The solar panels helped in sufficient energy generation throughout the year. Hence the use of entire solar energy incident on a building surface efficiently helps in reducing the heat gain in Earth’s atmosphere. This building does not rely on energy or resources from outside, thus being completely sustainable. 17
Perennial plants are preferred so as to have year-round food production. Study on detail planning of farm has been done on square foot basis. But due to page constraint, it is not been presented here.

This view shows the Corridor on the front side. Use of steel structure and the aluminium panels eliminated the use of RCC roof for the ceiling. It helped in reducing the project cost as per the clients requirment The rear side roof was made of RCC as it has to withold the suns heat and maintain a good indoor temperature. Office rooms, Swimming pool, Multipurpose hall, Library were the other facilities provided in this building. The rear side of the class opens out to a play area.

BRIEF: A hotel on a steep slope facing the snowy Kanchanjunga peak. The slope difference in site is 20m. The rooms were designed in a way that every room gets the view of the snow peak. These roofs represents the traditional TIbetian Architecture style.
The sliding windows span from floor to the beam for better view. The window has also a railing attached. So this window helps in safety and also gives a feel of balcony when it is opened SECTION AA’

BRIEF: Had an interest in visualisation from 6th semester for Interior Design. Slowly friends appreciating my skills, I started doing freelance projects for friends and other college students. Overtime, I started dealing with small architecture firms for both interior and exterior renders. I have completed more than twenty five visualisation projects so far. Softwares used were Revit, Sketchup & Lumion.
