AWARDS

Each year, a number of awards are presented to soloists, ensembles, and singers of the Academy who merit recognition or are in need of financial help to advance their musical careers. The recipients are decided by the Director of the Academy after observation of musicians during their time in Verbier and through consultation with Academy faculty and coaches.

Chaque année, un certain nombre de prix sont décernés aux solistes, ensembles et chanteurs de l’Academy qui le méritent ou pour les aider financièrement dans la poursuite de leurs carrières. Les lauréats sont choisis par le Directeur de l’Academy après observation des musiciens durant leur séjour à Verbier et consultation du corps professoral et des coachs de l’Academy.

Prix Yves Paternot

The Prix Yves Paternot recognises the Academy’s most promising and accomplished musician. The Laureate receives CHF 10,000, an invitation to perform at a future edition of the Festival, and is eligible for a contribution of up to CHF 15,000 to support his or her artistic and professional development. Le Prix Yves Paternot distingue le musicien le plus prometteur et accompli de l’Academy. Le lauréat reçoit CHF 10’000.-, une invitation à revenir se produire à Verbier lors d’une future édition, et une possible contribution en sus (jusqu’à CHF 15’000.-) dans le cadre d’un projet qui favorisera son développement artistique et professionnel.

CHF 3,000 for an Academy musician who contributes to the spirit of the Verbier Festival through a commitment to community and public engagement. pour un musicien de l’Academy contribuant à l’esprit du Verbier Festival par son engagement envers la collectivité et le public.
