Javier Vergara Petrescu

I'm from Santiago de Chile, I'm passionate about cities and on how social innovation and technologies can help improve quality of life. I'm founder of Ciudad Emergente.org a Laboratory of Tactics and Tools for Citizen Urbanism. I'm also co-founder of Plataforma Urbana, Plataforma Arquitectura and Citisent. I studied Architecture at the P.Universidad Catolica and I did my MSc City Design & Social Sciences at the London School of Economics' Cities Programme. I've had the chance of living in quite different cities ranging from Arica, Rome, London, New York and currently I'm based at Santiago de Chile, where I lead and collaborate on Latin American Urban projects.
