The shops has no consistent and recognizable brand elements, taking retro HK children comic books as an inspiration, a fat little boy character is designed to promote the core value of LKK snack shop -------- delicious and local. 等社運組織的青年,帶來了一些傢俬,一些書本,又有好心人捐錢或捐食物。不知不覺間,佔領 中環發展成為一個實驗。參與者親身示範着資本主義以外的可能性──一個和諧共產的小社區。 小社區邀請每個人去參與,即使互不相識,只要帶着一腔熱血和一堆想法,每個人都可以置身其

《馬可波羅遊記》,一步改變西方對古中國的印象: 高門大戶,氣派不凡的宮殿,到處金雕玉砌,奇珍異寶比 比皆是,琳琅滿目都令人有說不出的心馳神往。在馬可波 羅的遊記中,中國瑰麗地呈現了在西方人的心中,讓他們 不期然地對我們這個歷史悠久的國家產生了傾慕、嚮往, 甚至是貪欲。 現今有很多人質疑,到底偉大的冒險家,那個以文字 構建了中西文化“絲綢之路”的人,馬可波羅,到底有沒 有來過中國。 筆者每次看到這些新聞都不期然地笑了起來。 要探究這件事的真相,或許要靠那些專家才可以。只 是專家以什麼做理據,這全憑他們的判斷。每天的報章上 都不免出現一些青紅難辨的研究報告:多吃葡萄會比較長 壽;年老的人,血壓高一點比較好;八月份出生的人以後 的遭遇比同年人差,等等。看完後,或許每人都會想,他 們到底根據什麼,做了什麼出現這個結論呢?專業知識。 一個看似無可駁斥的詞彙,然而,我們看到最常出現的情 況就是,很快的,就會有另一個研究報告推翻之前的研究 報告,指出對方不成立,甚至毫無根據。被推翻的一方通 常都會引用發明家愛迪生先生的那一句,「我沒有失敗, 我找到一千種方法是不成功的。」 同樣的情況,也經常出現在我們可愛的政府官員口 中,只是他們卻從來不懂得學習謙卑,連完場的說話都不 懂得,政治公關稱得上是一敗塗地。「樓市會自己調節, 我們不應該干預市場運作。」、「 公屋和私人樓宇已經 可以滿足市民的需求,政府短期內無意復建居屋。」、「 香港的樓市似乎已經去到一個不理智,市民很難負擔的地 步。但我們會加大力度打擊泡沫。然而復建居屋必須要慎 重考慮,不可以倉促決定。」、「或者,我們有需要重新 推出居屋,壓制熾熱的炒風。」 短短的幾句話,卻充分地體現了政府在政策推行上, 是希望「野渡無人舟自橫」,墨守成規,最好什麼都不用

縱 觀

從黎智英政治捐獻事件 看政黨發展 做,鼓勵大市場主導。然而,一次又一次的操控、壟斷、 欺壓,逼得市民不得不走上街頭告訴政府,我們的利益正 被一步步地蠶食,所謂的自由市場,只不過是財團瓜分香 港一切的一個糖衣毒藥。政府要市民的呐 喊 ,力竭聲嘶的呐 喊;政府要市民的咆哮,痛心疾首的咆哮;政府要市民的 哀鳴,水深火熱的哀鳴,才會稍微有點理智,認真聽一聽 社會到底是在何處境之下,人民激動抗命到底是為何。一 班政務官員出身的高官,只有在所謂的宣傳期內才從天上 降臨人間,瞥一瞥世上的情況,表演著出色的關切技巧, 高舉著偉大的愛民旗幟,與隨從喊著那個信仰般的口號, 為基層的市民帶來了像春天一般希望溢然的一刻。只是, 我們知道,那不過是精心安排的一場舞臺劇,一場在宣傳 時後無法成真的舞臺劇。那樣才是市民最憤怒的。 或許就是因為這樣,高官的感想言辭中,從來不曾聽 到問心無愧四個字。幕後的政治化妝師在代入他們的角色 時,也完全無法寫出「問心無愧」四個看似簡單,卻是最 大意義的詞語。不斷地逃避話題,把平平凡凡的業績,寫 成了豐功偉績,或許連化妝師都無法再為他們找到可以寫 的東西了,巧婦難為無米之炊,這也不能怪責化妝師,他 已經盡力了。難道要學習民建聯的橫額,功績就是「成功 爭取在路邊放置多一個狗糞收集箱」,這大概是他們為自 己的言論準備的吧。 能夠坐在議事堂內的,都是擁有相當權利的人士, 只是他們得到權利後卻被權利所控制,戀棧著這安逸的位 置,為了討好,不辨是非的附和,廉恥似乎是那個在上世 紀已被淘汰的情節。講出一些貽笑大方的理論,還自以為 鏗鏘有力。到底要到什麼時候,才能用力地在他們思緒裡 面狠狠地踹一腳,讓他們能夠好好的清醒一下呢? 或許馬可波羅並沒有來過中國,學者也沒有認真做過 所發表的研究,只是我們一直活在謊言下而不自知。

壹傳媒集團主席黎智英今日被揭發向三個泛民主派政 黨作出巨額捐獻,此次政治獻金事件在香港政壇上被廣泛 報導,更在社會上引起極大爭議。事件中,黎智英被揭發六 年間向民主黨、公民黨及社民連捐出三千萬。對於黎智英 向上述三黨捐出大筆款項,有言論認為由於黎智英與泛民 主派政黨關係密切,加上作為傳媒老闆的身份,因此深信 他極有可能透過政治捐獻去控制政黨。 然而,我們應該轉而思考這次事件與香港民主發展有 何關係,以及一個民主社會的基礎。政黨組成的目的是為 了執政,繼而出現政黨輪替,其意思是不同的政黨未必能 夠同期執政,但是,他們有機會參政,即使輸了選舉,反 對黨也要監察執政黨的表現,肩負起向人民負責的精神。 由此可見,成熟的民主社會在某程度上兼具與成熟的政黨 政治。為了令人民能夠監察政黨,《政黨法》便是其中一 種利器。假若香港為政黨而立法,這次的黎智英政治獻金 時間或許不會引發廣泛的爭議。因為政治捐款受到法律的 規範,當政黨收到巨額捐款時,便需要按法律透露捐款來 源。 香港政黨雖然能夠參政,但實際上卻不是政黨,其 法律地位只能稱作公司和社團。香港政黨只要根據《公司 條例》和《社團條例》向香港政府註冊,便可以成為公司 或社團組織。他們根本毋須披露收入來源,因此,其捐款 來源未必需要公開。假設某政黨的候選人呈報選舉經費來 源,只要該政黨宣稱該候選人的選舉經費有該政黨全數支 付,捐款來源也無從得悉。我們回到黎智英捐款予民主 黨、公民黨和社民連的議題上,政黨依靠捐款維生也是無 可厚非,因為政黨不是商業機構,不能透過提供服務賺取 金錢,而是代表社會中一些人的利益去制定政府政策,分 配社會資源,其捐款收入理應用作政策研究和日常地區工 作的開支。但是,如果沒有《政黨法》去規範政治捐獻, 給予政黨特定職能去執政,市民便不會信任政黨,錯覺地 認為政黨參政只是為一小撮富有的人服務,變相不利政黨 發展。

基本法是一部小憲法,規定和列明香港政府須保障 香港永久居民某些權利。根據《基本法》第三章第二十 七 條:香港居民享有言論、新聞、出版的自由。結社、 集會、遊行、示威的自由,組織和參加工會。罷工的權 利和自由。香港政府必須確保香港永久居民有結社的自 由。組織政黨其實也是結社自由的一種,擁有共同理念的 人理應可以自由組織政黨參選並執政,可是我們的政府 只說香港現階段並不適合為此而立法,變相違背了「港 人治港,高度自治」的原則,只依賴小圈子選舉出來的 行政長官執政,認受性缺乏民意基礎,無需向廣大市民 問責,而且《基本法》又規定行政長官不可擁有政黨背 景,實則剝奪了行政長官的結社自由。令政府須要花大量 時間爭取政黨支持政策推行,政黨在政策制定上永遠處 於被動形式,未能發揮其作用,阻礙香港的政黨發展。 萬事俱備,只欠東風?是否只要為政黨立法便可以保 證香港過渡成為民主政體?當然不是!但至少為政黨參政 踏出一大步,逐步邁向民主發展,因為這至少承認了政黨 有執政的機會,否則便沒有需要成立《政黨法》。透過《 政黨法》,確認政黨有執政的機會,其實更能鼓勵市民捐 款予政黨,有助政黨的發展和成長。現時香港並無制度或 法律監管政治獻金,《政黨法》立法的目的是規定政黨必 須公開某個金額以上的捐款來源,務求令公眾監察政黨, 以防政黨偏重特定集團的利益。 有些人認為《政黨法》猶如政黨政策中的「二十三 條」,使更多富商不願意捐款予泛民主派政黨,因為懼怕 中央政府得悉他們反對其政權,會處處為難他們營商,實 則打壓了泛民主派的發展。但是,同一時間建制派政黨也 要公開其捐款來源。以民建聯為例,其捐款收入高達六千 萬,假若在《政黨法》的規管之下,民建聯也要公開其幕 後金主。其實,最重要的不是政黨會得到或減少捐款收 入,而是確保了政黨必須照顧各方利益,不能偏袒某一 方,而且,《政黨法》確保了各政黨在高透明度下公平競 爭,鼓勵政黨發展。因此,從黎智英捐獻事件中,不應該 停留於其行為的對與錯,該與不該,而是要反思這樣對香 港民主發展有何啟發。

Seasonal Website Project This is a group project of 4 with an imaginary client: Pizza Hut, which sales of take away is much higher than dine-in during christmas time. We bellieve christmas is a great chance to gather for a feast, somehow we are too embrassed to invite friends to party out of sudden and afraid of out of conversation during the gathering. The promotion all starts with a photo. Our website allow users to retouch photos and share easily to recall happy moments between friends. Together with a tailor-made event management system and online menu for pre-ordering, We aim to encourage teenagers aged 18-25 to dine-in rather than take away during christmas.

Interactive Narrative Application This is an application featuring serveral interactions like mouse-click or microphone, to narrate our own version of a story in Aesop’s fable - the ant and the grasshopper with some assigned objects that are not in the story originally. I mainly in charge of the visual presentation, including character design and scenes design. As the group co-ordinator, I organize and manage the whole project utilizing the manpower of 5.

“VERONIKA� introduction Animation I believe name is an important element to present oneself, I choose to create a simple motto out of the letters of my name and embedded the letters subtly in the animation while telling the story of myself. The story illustrated my gain on ideas, knowledge and art sense in MM school life, grown up a bit, have some works to show, and now is reaching for a chance to continue my design path. The main character is derived from my personal logo. Its main feature is the eye, so I make use of its blinking motion to link up the animation. The bumper best illustrated the main point of my animation, nothing can best describe me but my name.

Animation Hiatus: Simply using a stale leg can exchange for better eyesight I’ve longed for. The shop-owner didn’t know my trick. Darrell the Shop-owner: This is a shop trading body parts. Who cares whether it’s fake or not if it sells. Limbo: I pocketed an eyeball on the road. With some juicy words, it’s already enough to get me the item in the shop window. I just don’t believe in retribution. 夏特:我拿着壞腳就換到了好視力。 嘻,老闆沒有發現。 戴域老闆:這是間販賣身體部份的店舖。管他真偽,轉個手就賺到。 連寶:路上撿到眼球,說幾句加鹽加醋,便夠換取櫥窗裡的心頭好,我才不信報應這回事。

Welcome to PolyU promotion Video We choose to present the diversity of PolyU in the video through a series of activities carrying out by 4 characters with distinct personality,bringing out the message that PolyU can satisfy students with different needs, including play, study, sport and dine. Different colours assigned to the characters to distinguish them clearly and the costumes were carefully chosen to reflect their personality. We chose activities with actions that can link up with each other to preserve the continuity. We created a scrolling banner with light-painting words by stop-motion as the ending of the video.

Two favourite elements of mine - squirrel and pirate combined in the design to show my personality. Squirrel symbolized curious and playful while pirate express desire for freedom and adventures. Rufina’s hairstyle and dressing style resembles mine. The story shows Rufina’s great observation on other’s needs and bring out “a good deed is never lost”. I make use of mental ray and final gathering to render the scenes to establish a sun in the middle sky environment. The clay model style gives warmth and kindness matching with the surreal character.

“Happy Remedy� Animation The World Health Organization projects that by the year of 2020, depression will become the second largest killer of the world, but people are not aware of the causes, syndromes and cures of the disease. Nevertheless, depression can be diagnosed at early stage. One of the possible self-help treatments is to keep track of activities that can cheer up oneself. I would like to make use of animation as the medium to spread out a solution that everyone can prepare and make themselves a customized prescription before depression defeats them. The animation brings audiences into a imaginative world that people living there showed depression syndromes. Black clouds are used to represent depression. A boy learnt to collect happiness, stored them and fought off depression at last.

“Mister Magic” MV Animation This is an animation mainly made by Adobe After Effects, the story is based on the lyrics of the song “Mister Magic” by Jay Chou. There are three characters: the great magician, his assistent and lover, and his enemy the clown. The scene setting is in western cowboy style. Character Design

“How does the brain work?� Animation This is an 1 minute 2D flash animation for primary 3-6 children teaching them how the brain works. We focus on explaining the role and work of the brain when we see things. We make use of metaphors to present the process in an interesting way. The story is about the journey of 2 brothers inside the brain, which is like a factory. “Behind Scene� Visual Effects Video A big accident happens in fliming studio. The soul of the flim, director, is also the key of the accident. He leads to a series of failures. This, may be the real picture in a fliming studio. Tragedy can be caused by any minor stupid reason. We try to create an illusion of time freezing in the video. We asked the actors to hold still for few seconds and use 60 fps camera for shooting. The shooting path was to circle once around the studio and back with the key character, director. After shooting, we rely on post-production to remove the wires, adding effects of sparkling fire and shattering glasses. Full video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28J8kTs-nOk
