Miro, als erstes mal siehst du gut? Ich bin mir nämlich nicht sicher mit diesem Vornamen (Miro bedeutet auf Französisch blind) Ja ich sehe gut, kann mich nicht beklagen. Warum hast du in Letzter Zeit so viele Sessions verpasst? Arbeit? Frauen? Party?... Ich habe gehört, dass du Depressionen hast. Ich denke jeder dieser drei punkte war das problem. Wir bauten oft miniramp auf und desshalb konnte ich nicht kommen (Samir der faule sack ist halt nie gekommen). Das mit den depressionen war nur ein spruch von Michi, weil ich einmal kein bier trinken wolte! Du weisst, dass Änni’s Kollegin im Esprit heimlich in dich verliebt ist... worauf wartest du?! Du bist jetzt ein Mann, da du dein erstes Handrail gefahren bist!
Comment fais-tu pour être aussi relax sans fumer de weed? Ah j’en sais rien, je suis comme ça naturellement! Sinon c’est quoi le mieux, surfer ou skater? Je peux skater tous les jours, mais surfer, seulement 3 semaines par an... Donc à chaque fois que j’ai la chance de surfer j’apprécie vraiment plus! Tu joues aussi d’la musique, raconte un peu... Ouais je joue de la guitare dans un groupe rock. On est 5, on fait que des reprises pour le moment. On peut répéter dans la salle de l’école, c’est pratique. Peut-être qu’un jour on jouera pour Drink for Versus!

Skaten, kann ich jeden tag, surfen vieleicht 3 wochen im jahr... Desshalb freue ich mich aufs surfen immer viel mehr! Du machst sein Neuem auch selber Musik, kannst du uns etwas darüber erzählen? Ja seit neuem speile ich gitarre in einer Rockband. Wir sind 5 leute und covern immoment noch lieder. Wir können den bandraum der schule benutzen, was sehr praktisch ist. Naja sonst gibt es noch viel zu sagen, vieleicht spielen wir ja mal an einer Drink for Versus party!

Mein intro wird wahrscheindlich mit den ganzen drops doppelt so lange wie mein part. Nach meinem surfurlaub filme ich noch mal richtig und dann kommt die sache gut. Ich habe von euren “Challenges” gehört... denkst du, dass du gewinnst? Gib uns ein paar Details? Ja unsere challenges sind nun vorbei... Michi hat sich am meisten zum affen gemacht und somit auch die meisten punkte gesammel. Er hat das skateboard gewonnen. Ich meine wer im Mc Donalds auf die theike klettert und Money Boy singt hat das wirklich verdient.

En tous les cas, je tenais à te remercier; Ouais pour ce Versus que toi, et les autres gamins, avez fait pendant que j’étais en vacances (Versus #60 HS), et aussi parce que sans toi, la vidéo Versus n’aurait jamais été possible! J: Ok Danny, why should a skater care about a few guys riding old Bikes? D: Good question, ask Jey! :) No, here we go: cause i think what i do is more for people who skate, ride bmx or for those who are not fat, old and ugly! and because we care!!! D: So why is a guy doing a movie about bikers when he first did a sk8 vid!? J: Hum... When i first got introduced to this idea by Moules (Achtung!), I thought it’s a lame joke... But when I then finally met Danny & the Boys... And realized that you guys are not only building bikes all by yourself, really DIY style, but that we share quite a similar philosophy about getting stuff done... I was allready in the middle of documentary the madness! D: ... Because we are not the boyz sitting on the couch! Everyone was asking me why is Jan doing a documentary cause of he’s not really a documentary movie maker! J: Ok, the answer is really simple: Cuz I don’t give a fuck! D: Nice!!!! J: I mean I come from the whole skate-punk-hc-diy scene... We don’t care about those rules of all those 9/5-slaves! D: Niiice J: “Ah, you don’t learnt how to build a bike as a job - so how can you open a garage?” - “Ah you never made a documentary before - so how can you invest 3 years of your life and money in a cinema-documentary?” D: Santa Claus can open a garage!! As long you have the will and the effort to do something then its makeable. it’s a hard way but a nice one! ... And cause we both do not give shit thats why this movie came out this fucking nice!

D: I never thought or never had the felling it would suck or it would turn out bad. cause we had a fucking fun time doin this movie! plus you were working professional on it! Plus I saw from time to time some teasers and already those were fucking nice!!! I thought it could turn out “bad“ cause of me not beeing a pro in front of a cam!! J: So, you had to see the movie at all the city-premiers in cinema what’s your personal fav scene in the Movie? D: The whole movie!!! Evertytime I saw it I discovered new things. Which I haven’t seen before! Plus I was never bored to see it again!!! What about you! same question! Cause you most probably have seen the movie 200000 times! J: Hahaha.. Thanx.. I see that as a huge compliment! I love the intro.. cuz to me, as a skate-video-guy, that’s like the soul.. And I love how you say “and I gonna do that with this hammer not really like a metalworker - but who gives a fuck”.. I love the FMX part.. Love the ridings... I love Pümi “it’s not about sitting comfy”.. I love Renés slowly speaking.. And much more! Honesty: what was the worst moment on the shooting? D: Having a cam in my face when I didn’t wanted a cam in my face!!!!!! J: ... So I guess quite often.. Haha! D: No!! There were not many of those moments!! I bet it was more difficult for you with me!!!! Plus carrying always a cam mics and shit with you! ... Japan!!! You, not eating any fish n meat! So how hard was the food search and how was japan for you in general? J: I mean I’m used to those troubles.. So no hard feelings! Japan was too crazy. Loved it! And it was so important for the movie. But that’s also why I’d like to go back there.. Without a project.. I mean.. Just going to those automatic-photo-spots and feel like a rockstar.. Or just walking round the streets... Shooting photos etc.. It was amazing!!!
J: Back when I started coming to your garage, you were a youngster, been in a few mags & shows etc.. But not THAT known.. Then DMX came.. The Mooneyes Show in Japan.. The best Mag Coverage ever.. Sturgis.. Las Vegas and now even that shooting with Michael Lichter... Do you still have dreams???? D: Helllllll yeah!!! By the end of the day it was a hell of a ride! But I wouldn’t say I’ve seen eaverything! I’m even more focused on new projects that I was before! And just I was in few mags or shows - I’m not king! It needs so much more then this to be successfull!!! So that means back to the garage building shit!!! So no one wanted to support the movie at the beginning!?... And you were husteling hard! How hard is this to take!? J: Hum... It’s no fun to realize no one sees the fire you feel! D: Damn right! J: And it was really hard financing a cinema-documentary by myself, and NOT make any compromise.. In terms of the look and way i wanted to do it!.. But somehow it was possible.. And in the long run what counts is how the movie looks.. How many people like it etc, and not how much money I invest, or how long I worked on it.. Or if I even made a profit.. Haha! D: It’s the propsand the experience who makes you rich! Plus the following movies!!!! J: Hehe.. Got a tough one for you: Why are you deconstructing any bike after a year.. And build a new one? D: Cause it’s fun!!!! J: Hahahaha! D: And money is short to buy other ones... J: It hurts to see!!! D: That’s for sure! J: It was a hell of a ride.. It was tons of great moments I’d never wanna miss.. A few tough moments.. Hard work.. And a nice end-product! I guess I’d still like HARDNINE Movie in ten years.. Cuz I was not listening on any body. Did it my way... True to the story and the caracters..! J: Ok... Last question: Do you really think LA is better then Bern Baby Burn???! D: No it’s not!!
