Join us on Saturday, September 18th! The VFC is holding its yearly open house event on September 18th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm!

If you have any family members or friends who you've been trying to aviation, the open house is a great way to introduce newcomers into our shared passion! Bring them to the by for a free 20-minute discovery flight with our instructors! They'll also be able to meet our team, tour cool civilian and military aircraft, and more. It's also a great way to spend time with kids and get out of the house on a Saturday afternoon with the family.

exciting rebuild project of a Beechcraft 95 twin-engine aircraft where visitors will learn how old aircraft can be transformed into a modern glass cockpit trainer. Door prizes include an hour of flight time with one of our of flight instructors for the general public as well as a free 1.5 hour use of one of our recreational aircraft for members. There will be a BBQ on site that will serve food and drinks for a modest price from 11:30 pm to 1:30 pm. You'll also be able to enjoy yourself in comfort knowing that Provincial vaccine safety procedures will be followed throughout the event. The open house will run rain or shine, so come and spend the day with us. We're all looking forward to seeing you there!
If you have or know teens who might be interested in aviation, they can get career guidance from School District 61. The University of Victoria will also be on site with information about their Diploma in Business Administration for Aviation.
