MESCLA PARK LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE STUDIO II MUNICH -GERMANY I 2015 Fakultät für Architektur • Technische Universität München (TUM) Autors: E. Wilhelm, H. Schwartz and V. Gewehr; Mentor: Prof. Dr. Sc. ETH Zürich Udo Weilacher; Tutors: Dipl.-Ing. Jonas Belingrodt and Dipl.-Ing. Till Kwiotech.

With the challenge of designing a park under a road that was being transformed into a viaduct, we developed a project that solved in a technical and aesthetic way questions like noise from the access of the cars to the tunnel, activities that attended the population during the different seasons and paths curves tested in the physical model that would provide a

path through the park full of surprises. A highlight of the project is a Wasserspielplatz (water playground), which works both in summer and winter. On warm days, people are challenged to go from island to island until they reach the big central island and during the winter, the surface of water stays on top of the islands and turns to ice, serving for ice skating.

I love the nature so close to my home, there are a lot of birds flying around the incredible vegetation, taking a shower in the fountains and singing. It’s an amazing daily experience.

I think the colors in the park incredible, because it’s everywhere and intense. My favorite think about the color is the combination of the them with the texture of the water and the trees.

Vicente Gewehr | UNDERGRADUATED WORKS

I prefer for sure the water playground! Because it’s possible in the summer we play in the water and in the winter ice skating. There are many ways to enjoy the place in all of the seasons.

02 ∙ MSK

I think the possibility to meet friends and hang out. We sit together after the work and drink a beer together always when we can. I love to sit on the little mount to see the whole park.

MIXED BUILDING ATELIE ARCHITECTURE STUDIO VITĂ“RIA -BRAZIL I 2015 Autors: Mateus Souza and Vicente Gewehr Mentor: Prof. Karla Caser and Liane Destefani

At ST-MIR Studio I have taken part in the production of the design of the Montain House. I have worked for six months only in this project. I did the development of the building in BIM software (Archicad), doing all of the constructive details and also learning how to cooperate in the joint management of the drawing of the executive project with the compatibility between complementary project like electrica, hydraulic and structural design.

AGROPARQUE BACHELOR THESIS I VITÓRIA BRAZIL I 2017-2018 Autor: Vicente Gewehr Mentor: Prof. Homero Penteado and Prof. Karla Caser

The project proposal consist in the development of a green area, named Agroparque, with the propose is to mitigate the consequences of na undeveloped food system in urban regions, such as the distance of food production and population, lack of food quality (nutritions values), unsustaintable production, leopardizing the ecossystem and the Food Security of the less favored classes. Agroparque (modeled in archicad) partially implemented as a pilot in the Goiabeiras, a lower class neighborhood, in

Vitória, Espírito Santo state, strategically chosen due to its singular location between a natural ecossystem (mangrove), The Federal University and an arterial road that connects the cities around. An enviromental preservation zone comprised of a tableland forest and preserves the most relevant cultural manifestation of the region, which can be exampled by the local artesanal production of the pans of clay and the Congo, activities originated from descendants of African and indigenous culture historically fused.

Agroparque proposal for Goiabeiras was carried out in na area of 330,00m², wich representes 0,35% of the extension of the city of VitĂłria. In line with the region singularity, the project brings together food production and recreational activities (targeting food themes) by designating areas for food production, based on the regions’s socio-enviromental characteristics and for a recreational and administrative centers, near the current housing areas. INTERGALATIC COMUNE II SET DESIGN - MAIS K ARQUITETOS SÃO PAULO - 2018 STATUS: COMPLETED

Pictures of the prototype’s study.

LEFT: Sketch of the prototype. RIGHT: fabrication of the blownd glass (picture: Elvira Schuartz).

It consisted of a scenography project exposed in the EMA (Municipal School of Astrophysics). I volunteered in the team with the architect Keila Costa. The idea of the exhibition was to gather astronomy, arts, architecture with lectures, activities and exhibition of meteorites that would simulate an explosion of meteorites. I was responsible for the execution and development of the prototype glass beads that would house the meteorites during the exhibition. Because meteorites are unique and very valuable, the prototype had to be heavily tested so as not to allow theft to meet the desired aesthetic design. Several tests were carried out together with the ateliê espaço zero in São Paulo, which specializes in blownd glass.

STUDENT ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION 2019 - BRAZIL Autors: Caroline Gava and Vicente Gewehr

Top view of the area.

The competition was about a design of a gallery that would assume the role of the national museum until it was rebuilt. Our proposal addressed the central product of the intervention not as a building itself, but rather the strategy for establishing a relationship between built-up areas and free areas. An axis has been defined as a space that orders these areas and their connections, create a visual conection thats make the National Museum as a focal point of the project. From this axis, a set of filled and empty areas, established in a counter-position, was created. These create a spatial dynamic articulating the objects of culture, education and history of the environment in the galery..

The theme was about built houses for refugees, for that was created a industrial and modular house with a standard structure and adaptable seals, that allows allows it to be implanted in any region of the world. It has an area of 24m² and capacity to accomodate up to 6 people. As a concept, it was used the intelligent and rational mathematics of the bees which, through the replication of regular hexagonal alveoli, allow the largest volume of storage using the least amount of material. What enable refugees live in city centers instead of a actual reality about far away camps.

CALAMITY ATELIER INTERNATIONAL YOUNG ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION - 2019 - YAC Autors: Matheus Soares and Vicente Gewehr

A recent storm hit Arte Sella, one of the most representative place for contemporary art located in the north of Italy, damaging hectares of trees and left a trial of devastation mud. The competition aim was to regenerate the area with a design of a museum of the disappeared works, five artist’s house ateliers and an auditorium/workshop. The proposal presents itself with a sublime architectural elegance accentuated by the combination of innovative design and harmony with the surroundings. As a result, there is an architecture that fits the monumentality of nature present in the site.
