May is full of celebrations from Mother’s Day to proms and weddings, and Glaze Salon, an up-scale, a full-service salon located in Chatham, is up to the task of providing guests with beautiful hairdos and make-up applications for all occasions. The salon, which was fully renovated in 2019, is owned by Cindi Galiher, and Kathy Korab.

According to Kathy, this season, the salon is seeing many prom clients coming in asking to wear their hair down with curls and waves. “Most clients come into the salon with hairdos in mind and bring photographs,” says Kathy. “We take our cues from our clients and customize their hair exactly how they desire.” The salon also has an extensive line of hair extensions for clients to choose from.

This season, pink and apricot lip colors are very popular for prom goers, according to Cindi, who says that she customizes clients’ makeup palettes according to the colors they will be wearing and their skin tones. In addition, with false lashes being all the rage these days, many looks aren’t complete without lash applications.

In addition, guests can enjoy other services, which include manicures, pedicures, and waxing. There is even a cavitation machine that uses ultrasound sound waves to slim and smooth problem areas. And for those who need a great gift, the retail store is the perfect place to shop.
