Below are workouts you can do with your kids in your home
1) Mountain Climbers
Get into a push-up position & then alternate bringing your knee to your elbow.The idea is to move fast and work out a sweat!
2)Bear Crawls
Palms and feet flat on the floor,arc your back so that you look like a momma bear. Race your kids across the room .Add some fun by having competition! Which team runs faster.
3)Star Jumps
Kids love these!stand tall and then explosive ly jump into the are expanding your legs and arms so that you look like a large “X”.
4)Sit Ups
Another classic.Feel free to tuck your toes under the sofa or coffee table if you need a bit if support or ask your kids to hold your feet and vice versa it’s more fun!
5)Burpees
Start with a jump up,then drop to a plank add a push- up,and then jump back up. Try not to pause between repetitions.
6) Squats
Kids are naturally born squatters. Stand with your feet shoulders apart,and do deep knee bands.
Make it fun and challenge each other and see who can do many squats in a minute!.
7)Leg Raises
Lay on your side or your back and with your legs without bending at knee.Tru to hold at the top.This works your lower abdominals,but careful to not your lower back arch.
8)Planks
Elbows on the floor and balanced on your tiptoed,go eye-to-eye and see who can last the longest. For fun ,ask your smallest child to sit on your back and see how long you last.
