Catching up with your Lieutenant Governor

Wuddup Division 62?

"

This is it. This is the last newsletter of my term. I don't know how I should feel about this. I don't know how I feel about my term coming to an end in general, haha.

"

I don't know what else to say than thank you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve as your Lieutenant Governor. Thank you for showing me how to be patience and compassionate. Most importantly, thank you letting me become your friend and get to know you. The past year had been an incredible journey. Our division had grown so much, and that is all thanks to YOU. You all are the reason for all our accomplishments.

"

THANK YOU. This is your Lieutenant Governor of 2015-16 signing off. (HA, just kidding! You’re still stuck with me for another 10 days!)

Message from your

Divisional Exe. Assistant

Hey Division 62!

"

We've finally reached the end of a another Key Club year. But, it felt like the term just started?

"

Anyway, thank you Division 62, for giving me the opportunity to serve as your Divisional Executive Assistant. Although time may have its restraints towards getting to know each club and its members, I am truly grateful for the friendships and bonds I've made throughout my term, and I can proudly say that all of you are wonderful, passionate individuals. To each and every member out there: thank you for all your time, dedication, and hard work towards your club, the division, and the community. Without you, this division wouldn't be where it is today.

"

While there may have been ups and downs throughout the year, this year was quite a memorable one, from being able to serve for part of the division to helping the community with members like you.

"

Division 62, Thank you for allowing me to grow and for giving me the support I need to serve for this division. Thank you for everything. I know that this division will continue to grow with such inspiring and dedicated leaders! In caring service, Michelle Yan

Message from your

Divisional Editor

WHAT’S GOOD DIVISION 62!? It’s already March!? Wow time has went by so fast huh? Sadly this is my last newsletter and my term as Divisional Editor will be ending just shortly! Throughout my term as Divisional editor, I have grown to connect with so many of you Panthers! From having a new perspective you could call it, to having a stronger bond with many Key clubbers throughout the year, to reaching new heights for our division, to serving while having a responsibility, and as well as learning a lot from being in this position. Taking photos/videos at DCMs and rallies were always enjoyable, but being able to connect with so many of you guys and serving in new heights was truly the best.

"

I encourage you guys who are interested or even have a slight thought

about running for Divisional Editor or even Divisional Assistant to run for it! There’s no doubt that YOU as a Key Clubber and a leader can bring new heights in our division and impact not only by serving, but by leading as well.

"

DCON is literally just around the corner! Yo can you believe that? In a short

amount of time some of our members will take off and experience what DCON is all about! A few words that explains DCON to me is.. “Life changing.” “Spirited.” “Lit.” “One big fam.” The different emotions you will be feeling throughout DCON is truly a memory you will never forget!

"

Well I hope you all have a wonderful month and remember to keep serving! I can’t wait to see our division grow by bringing new heights, and becoming closer as one. Best of luck to everyone and congratulations to all of the new club officers and Alissa once again! (:

Sincerely, Yvette Louie

THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL

year of service

SOME LAST WORDS Reading all of these DCON posts on the Facebook page makes me feel really nervous and hopeful at the same time because everyone seems to get along really well. : ^ ) (Jacky Li)

Hey Alissa,

"

This is your girl Sai. Congratulations on being the next LTG, and I'm so happy and excited to work with you in the next term. Great things are going to come our way and it's an honor to be accomplishing them with you. We definitely needs to hang out sometime, so give me a time and a place and I'll meet you there. So to next term. Love ya Girl (Sai Talolo)

FROM‌

To me, Key Club is more than an extracurricular activity after school. It has grown to be my squad meet-up, a center to meet new people to categorize as "fam," and a door to new possibilities in the future. A highlight to my career as a Key Club member would be our Powell Butte gardening events. We plant native plants that will eventually grow to help restore the habitat and maintain the waterways, which makes me believe that I've really done something that will impact the world in a beneficial manner. I'm labelled as a potato among my friends, which might also be a reason as to why I love gardening. (^: Also, congratulations to Alissa for being elected as the LTG for Division 62! I haven't directly met you, but I can already feel your enthusiasm from here. We look forward to working with you! DCON is also coming up, and it'll be my first year attending, so please treat me however you want to because I'm awkward. (^: See you there! (Ean Manalang)
