Shout out to everyone who came to last month’s DCM. I was beyond thrilled to see all the familiar and new faces. For those who are new Key Club or don’t know who I am, I am your Lieutenant Governor for the year 2015-2016! Some quick fun facts about me are: I love to read anything that is nonfictional, I love to hike or anything related to natural, and I absolutely love donuts, puppies and Starbucks. Please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions. I am here to serve YOU! I am also very friendly and outgoing, so please talk to me or say hi when you see me!

Lastly, I just want remind everyone that Trick-orTreat for UNCIEF is just around the corner! You get to Trick-or Treat with your friends and/or family AND save babies at the same time! It’s a win-win situation if you ask me! Also, please stay turned for this month’s DCM. It will be a unforgettable one!

This time of year marks a hectic time for your clubs, as many members will have to register and turn in membership fees. Don't forget to tell your members to turn their dues on time!

This month is filled with many volunteer opportunities, one to consider is Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. It is great way to raise awareness for the Eliminate Project and save many lives. I hope many of you will participate in this wonderful event. Have a good October!

Hopefully you all had a great start towards the new school year! With the new school year reaching into fall this is a great time to recruit new members as well as many service opportunities throughout the year. I am surely excited to see many new faces, service projects throughout our division and finding many endless ways to make our community and world a better place! We’ve been reaching beyond our goals in the past and recent. We recently eliminated MNT to 21 countries! Wow that is truly incredible! It’s not over yet Panthers! We still have 21 countries to eliminate! October has begun which means Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is just around the corner. DCON 2016 is not that far away as well! Do you want to design Division 62’s t-shirt? Let your creativity and ideas out by participating the division t-shirt design contest! More information will be posted. It was a great seeing many new faces during our September DCM and chatting with many of you guys! Feel free to email or message me if you have questions, ideas or just even want to chat!

“Scare up some funds and fun this Halloween by participating in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. It’s a great opportunity to collect donations instead of candy or to bring club members together for a fabulous event or party. All money collected by Kiwanis-family members through Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF will once again support The Eliminate Project and help save moms and babies from maternal and neonatal tetanus.”
