10 entrepreneurs generations, 134 women entrepreneurs looking to make a change in the country.

Welcome Message The fear of thinking big! More than ever, this quarter we have focused on spreading a key message: "Let go of fear and think big". During this three-month period, we have received messages from over 3000 women interested in becoming part of our organization, and have held face-to-face interviews with more than 200 female entrepreneurs for our Victoria147 Academy programs. In these interviews, 80% of the women presenting their project mention the word "fear" in their speech, and 95% of them show their projections as a "conservative scenario". This is why we have focused on creating a key message to empower women and invite them to think and act big. During these months we spread this message in several lectures given across Mexico, an activity we will continue performing to spread the word and motivate more and more women to do it. Likewise, we decided to design our annual event "I love" in line with the same goal of changing, and we invited the best experts to aid us. This time it will deal with possibilities, how to overcome fear, thinking and acting big. We will be joined by spokespersons with an impeccable career and aspiring stories: Lucy Lawrence, Héctor Esrawe, Michel Rojkind, Elena Reygadas, Jorge Camil, Pepe Zaga, and Carlos Miér y Terán. It will take place on November 7t, at Papalote Museo del Niño, and we are certainly hoping to see you there! I am also welcoming the tenth generation of female entrepreneurs of our Accelerator in Mexico City and Monterrey, who will be joining our network of 134 female entrepreneurs. We keep growing, accompanied by all of you, our most important allies and partners.

Ana Victoria

In favor of Gender Equity. "Mexico is ranked number 71 among 135 countries in terms of the gender gap”.* In September we granted Diageo and Tequilera Don Julio’s Por y Para la Equidad certification. This is a way to continue with our purpose, which is to contribute to the empowerment and development of female executives.

Por y Para la Equidad certifies that companies are committed to offering better opportunities to their collaborators, regardless of their gender, for a company's growth will always come from its people. This is why, through this certification, we try to promote a cultural corporate shift, so that both can grow professionally within a fair environment. * World Economic Forum, 2015.

Probably you are not thinking big enough.

For centuries we’ve been trained by the system to stop thinking and do as we are told. But dreamers and thinkers change the world. Thinkers and dreamers are the new untouchables. They don’t follow any logic. It’s hard to replace dreamers with algorithms. Why limit yourself when you can go further? Why give in to negative thoughts when you are more than capable? Allow yourself to think and act beyond the ordinary. Choose to do your most amazing work without anyone’s approval. Choose yourself today! Decide what you want or someone else will. You are the designer of your own destiny. What will it be? You can only change your mindset if you begin to care about your thought process... everyday. Start thinking big about your daily projects and tasks. How can your work influence the people around you and the rest of the world? Give yourself time in your life to wonder what is possible and to make even the slightest move in that direction. When you follow your own true north, you create new opportunities, have different experiences and create a different life.
