Patterned Nostalgia
“During this final unit my main aim was to create something that I would like to look at and buy, so creating a concept store was something that really clicked me when my tutor said about it. Focusing solely on surface pattern design I wanted to explore the diversity of printed pattern on a range of surfaces from wooden threedimensional pieces to fashion. This project, Patterned Nostalgia has helped me solidify my creative direction as a Multi-Disciplinary Designer.” Images by Kerry Curl 2021

Circle space window Take Over
I was selected to have a weekly window display at Circle Space. This was a great opportunity to get exposure in Norwich in a physical format. I treated this as a final exhibition, as I have no physical degree show at the University.

Optimism ”Every part of the optimism collection was created by Victoria herself. From the construction of the pattern blocks, to the screen printing, and the final designing and sewing of each accessory and garment. Hours of work has gone into creating these garments and accessories, and making this whole project come to life!” Processes used: Screen print ( binder, procien, devoré) Pattern cutting and fashion design Hand and machine sewing Textile pattern design Styling Images by Sophia Kapoor 2020
“Optimism is all about my feelings of this year, things go wrong but things also go right, so its optimistic. I also found the whole idea of people giving up on wearing nice clothes because they weren’t going out a bit sad, and I just wear whatever I want even if I am just going for a walk because I am doing it for myself. So, this project is all about just doing something to make yourself happy, and just finding the good in the bad even if it does feel a bit shit.” Images by Sophia Kapoor 2020
