GRADUATE PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OF URBAN PLAN FOR AICM, UNAM CAMPUS II
The Project of the new airport in Mexico City opens a great opportunity to recycle and urbanize the existing airport. Located on the east side of Mexico City, that has been historically the marginal area of the city, with a huge lack of services and opportunities for the population. The urbanistic project of the existing airport , it is not only the opportunity for providing these services, but also to integrate the lost and old lake system. The main objective of the project is to connect the new urban plan with the city traces using phenomenological principles.
UNAM campus II As part of the project, it is proposed a new campus of the National University and three new more universities, pretending to make a city of knowledge, with an industrial, scientific and technological campus.

"Every man is a medium of skills, a being that is self determined, the sovereign himself. He is an artist, he may be a garbage collector, hospital nurse, physician, engineer or farmer. Wherever he unfolds his skills, he is an artist." Joseph Beuys Joseph Beuys said that life is a medium for artistic expression, and in which the most important aspect is the action (to do), therefore everyone has the opportunity to be an artist. The art gallery is located in the city as a building that allows developing all new forms of art. This democratic gallery it´s contained in an openplan building, where everyone can make art and express him or herself. It´s inspired in the structures of industrial buildings, where various spaces are inserted in a secondary structure and create a clean empty space. Wood, brick, concrete and steel were the materials used.

The project was developed in an empty lot located in Albertplatz, in Dresden, the Saxon capital. The terrain was divided in two parts because of the emplacement of the streets. This decision caused that the final design was also a two-building project.

SCHOOL OF ARTS AND CRAFTS F.A.R.O FRABRICA DE ARTES Y OFICIOS The objective of this project was to bring art through developing different trades. It could also be described as a way to bring art to everyone and at the same time that everyone produce and create art, without forgetting of course that old arts were indeed first trades. For the ancient Mexicans, for example, there was no word for "art". The building works as a bridge over an old canal, connecting two neighborhoods and providing cultural and educational services. Wood, metal, concrete and bricks were the materials used.

It´s located on a street that once was a canal, but now is trapped in a pipe, at the east part of Mexico City. The building has the function of a bridge between the two parts of the city that once were separated and isolated by the canal. Because of the lack of cultural and educational services in this area, it was decided to develop a school of arts and crafts.

ARCHITECTURE OFFICE The architecture office is located in Coyoacan south of Mexico City, in an area still dominates the neighborhood and domestic scale buildings. the proposed building takes as its main axis the corner, the corner as an urban articulation. Keeping two low-rise wall that do not touch and revealing the inner courtyard of the building, gives the impression of a small enclosed square .Among the existing vegetation, the three-story building where it is defined between windows and elevation changes. The light for each space consists giving naturalness of the use, after all, as Louis Kahn said “The way that element conforms implies, to a large extent, the awareness of the potential for light. Media that make up a space and allow the light that penetrates used.

MUSICIAN HOME STUDIO An essential topic within the architectural culture of Mexico is the home, architects like Luis Barragรกn, Juan O Gorman or Max Cetto testified about all the possibilities of the conception of what is Mexican home: the Mexican home is a shelter; it is intimate. It's a musician home studio in a neighborhood of Coyoacรกn. Two volumes connected by a bridge, one for housing and the other for studying form it. It has blind facades that look directly to the exterior part and a free open view to the two small courtyards.

DRAWINGS The Hand as extension and vehicle of the mind , the hand is the main human tool to perceive the tangible world, the “thing-world but through drawing, the possibility to express graphically dreams and concepts about reality. Drawing is definitely the best way to express an idea. Not everyone developed their drawing skills, but they all use drawing to express emotions, thoughts and ideas. One way to discover the world is through drawing, where hand becomes and extension of the mind as well as the object observed. One of the virtues that I find in drawing is to discover proportions, details, scales and patterns.
