"Every man is a medium of skills, a being that is self determined, the sovereign himself. He is an artist, he may be a garbage collector, hospital nurse, physician, engineer or farmer. Wherever he unfolds his skills, he is an artist." Joseph Beuys Joseph Beuys said that life is a medium for artistic expression, and in which the most important aspect is the action (to do), therefore everyone has the opportunity to be an artist. The art gallery is located in the city as a building that allows developing all new forms of art. This democratic gallery it´s contained in an open-plan building, where everyone can make art and express him or herself. It´s inspired in the structures of industrial buildings, where various spaces are inserted in a secondary structure and create a clean empty space. Wood, brick, concrete and steel were the materials used.

The project was developed in an empty lot located in Albertplatz, in Dresden, the Saxon capital. The terrain was divided in two parts because of the emplacement of the streets. This decision caused that the final design was also a two-building project.

SCHOOL OF ARTS AND CRAFTS. F.A.R.O FRABRICA DE ARTES Y OFICIOS The objective of this project was to bring art through developing different trades. It could also be described as a way to bring art to everyone and at the same time that everyone produce and create art, without forgetting of course that old arts were indeed first trades. For the ancient Mexicans, for example, there was no word for "art". The building works as a bridge over an old canal, connecting two neighborhoods and providing cultural and educational services. Wood, metal, concrete and bricks were the materials used.

It´s located on a street that once was a canal, but now is trapped in a pipe, at the east part of Mexico City. The building has the function of a bridge between the two parts of the city that once were separated and isolated by the canal. Because of the lack of cultural and educational services in this area, it was decided to develop a school of arts and crafts. 21

METZTITLAN HOSTEL. This project was located in a small town in the center of Mexico, where it´s also located an ancient temple of the 16th century. Vernacular architecture and landscape are important elements of this site. The development of this building is due to the lack of a place to accommodate travelers who come to visit the ancient temple and the small town of Metztitlan. The building was developed by analyzing the architecture of Metztitlan, as well as the needs of the building according to the climatic conditions of the zone. Courtyards articulate the building. The materials that had been used for the development of this project were only extracted from this zone.

ARCHITECTURE OFFICE. This project is located in Coyoacån, at the south part of Mexico City. In this area still dominates the neighborhood as well as domestic scale buildings. The proposed building takes as its main axis the corner, which is used ad an urban articulation. Because it has two low-rise walls that do not touch, it allowed revealing the inner courtyard of the building, which created the impression of a small-enclosed square. Between the abundant existent vegetation, this threefloor building defines itself between windows and elevation changes. The light for each space consists in the naturalness of its use, after all, as Louis Kahn said "The way that element conforms implies, to a large extent, the awareness of the potential for light. Media that make up a space and allow the light that penetrates it.

MUSICIAN HOME STUDIO. An essential topic within the architectural culture of Mexico is the home. Architects such as Luis Barragán, Juan O´Gorman or Max Cetto left An essential topic within the architectural culture of Mexico is the home, architects like Luis Barragán, Juan O Gorman, Max Cetto testified about all the possibilities of the conception of what is Mexican home: the Mexican home is a shelter; it is intimate. It's a musician home studio in a neighborhood of Coyoacán. Two volumes connected by a bridge, one for housing and the other for studying form it. It has blind facades that look directly to the exterior part and a free open view to the two small courtyards.

DRAWINGS One way to discover the world is through drawing, where hand becomes and extension of the mind as well as the object observed. One of the virtues that I find in drawing is to discover proportions, details, scales and patterns.
