The Student Lens Goals and Your Benefits:

Our Plan Pt.1 - Our Event Plans Our Events would aim to expose new tech, content, and applications of the XR world to students. As well as train and teach students how to design and think in XR terms. Lastly, we’d want to give students the opportunity to submit their ideas to be made and showcased at the next YOMO event.

1.  We strive to expose XR content, games, tech and applications that are accessible on the mobile phone. 2.  Through our showcases and demos we will get students thinking about XR designs for Mobile devices. Fostering their interest to return to YOMO next year. 3.  Lastly, we will share and teach how we made our own XR stories and submitted them to AT&T SHAPE. And give students the chance to submit their stories to be made. YOMO can advertise that they also facilitate getting students into programs and internships.

Our Plan Pt.2 - Execution Day 1 & 2 Bring exposure to students about XR games being created. Showcase the future impact of the VR industry.

Day 3 Build an experience of XR Applications for students to witness, explore and test out. Have activities for students to make their own XR project design with our workshop staff.

Sowed Seeds Facilitate networking. Log students onto a platform for idea submissions to AT&T Shape's XR film competition. Accepted submissions would receive the equipment and studio space to film content for the competition. Finalists receive a cash prize, scholarship opportunity and enter a summer field program.
