A Wedding Coordinator is required to complete the booking of your wedding at Viejas Casino & Resort. While our Catering Managers will work with you in planning the hotel details of your wedding and serve as your hotel liaison, a Wedding Coordinator will assist you with all of your individual and personal details—such as photography, flowers, personalized place settings and décor, etc. A Wedding Coordinator will facilitate your rehearsal, wedding ceremony, and reception. On your wedding day, your coordinator will work with the Catering Manager to bring together the individual details and ensure that the vision for your special day becomes a reality.

The service charge and applicable sales tax in effect at the time of your event will be added to all package prices, as well as food, beverage, and audiovisual equipment charges. Meeting room rental and miscellaneous charges may also be subject to the current service charge and applicable sales tax. This amount is mandatory and is not a gratuity. While a portion of the service charge is currently retained by the hotel to cover overhead and other costs, a majority is shared by the hotel’s employees responsible for banquets, including managers, salespersons, kitchen staff, captains, servers, bartenders and set-up personnel. Alcoholic Beverages Please find enclosed our beverage and wine list. Should you have a request for a particular winery or vintage that is not listed, please speak with your Catering Manager for assistance. Viejas complies with all local and federal laws regarding the sales of alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who may be, in any team member’s view, impaired or under the legal drinking age of 21 years old. Due to the restrictions placed upon Viejas Casino & Resort by the California Alcohol Beverage Commission, all alcoholic beverages must be kept and consumed in the function area utilized. Guests may not bring in or take beverages out for any reason.

Table Décor For your wedding day, Viejas Casino & Resort utilizes a choice of black or ivory linen for all table dressings, napkins, and skirting. Viejas can also provide specialty choice linen for an additional cost. Standard tabletop dressing also includes four votive candles per table. Should you choose a centerpiece that includes candles, it is a safety standard of Viejas to permit only LED or battery operated lights. Open flames are not permitted inside the venue locations.

Vendors You are permitted to bring in the outside service providers of your choice; however, the hotel reserves the right to refuse access to certain vendors whose performance standards are not in keeping with those of Viejas Casino & Resort. To avoid any complications in this regard, please check with a Catering Manager prior to contracting with your outside service provider. Please be advised that all props and items contracted through outside vendors must be removed at the conclusion of your event. The hotel is not responsible for any items left after the conclusion of your event. Any outside vendors contracted by the client must provide a certificate of liability insurance naming Viejas Casino & Resort as an additional insured on a policy of at least one million dollars. 15
