S
HAPPY BIRTHDAY VIERA!
pringtime always heralds a change acceleration, a time period when we see change and movement in all things after the winter rest. We have such a short period of cooler weather in Florida that many of us start this process earlier than most around the country. This is also true of the changes around Viera. As a master planned community, we continue to see the acceleration in the completion of various projects and roads around our area. We share the vision about these changes in the pages of this magazine and we are excited to share our joys in the anniversary of our 30th year as a community. John L. Duda stood on a small stage in 1989 on the grounds of the Brevard County School Board and announced the plans for the community named Viera. It has been a steady journey of growth and planning by a team of individuals over the years comprised of many different backgrounds, skillsets, and fields of study with mindsets that work together to create the community you see today. It also represents a collaboration of outside resources and additional professionals in their fields providing guidance and opinions all in a circular vision to create a master planned community for families and businesses to grow, prosper and create lasting memories and successes now and for years to come.
As part of this journey we must include the residents who volunteer their time and efforts on various homeowner boards both large and small, sharing their knowledge and unique backgrounds to help maintain the beauty of the area. The rules imposed are necessary for maintaining the beauty and integrity that led many of us to purchase in Viera over the last 30 years. Last year we opened a few new parks, finished road projects and started new ones, held ribbons to be cut for grand-openings of new businesses, watched children graduate to the next level of their educational journey, participated in fundraising for many local and national causes, and celebrated each season with a focus on the best moments they bring each year to the community. I’m looking forward to a new year of change. We will be celebrating at various events around town this year with birthday cake. Watch our social media posts and stop by the table, have a slice, and share your story with us or what you love about Viera. Happy 30th Birthday Viera!

The image, about eight feet wide by five feet high, is from 2001 and the only obviously recognizable landmark today is the major league baseball park at the center of what would develop into what we know today as Viera. “I got the picture from a commercial real estate developer who had it in his office when they moved,” said Brevard County Commissioner Curt Smith. “Oh-one wasn’t COMMISSIONER CURT SMITH (LEFT) AND COMMISSION CHAIR KRISTINE ISNARDI (CENTER) POSE AT A LOCAL CLEAN-UP EVENT AT THE INDIAN RIVER LAGOON. that long ago.” Anyone who’s lived in or visited Brevard County and Viera over the past several includes Viera), about successes, challenges, priorities, years will be able to describe the change he or she has seen. and plans for the future of both Brevard and Viera as our Massive growth. JOBS. JOBS. JOBS.
Some of the biggest responsibilities of any county commissioner, both Isnardi and Smith agree, are of cheerleader, lobbyist, and champion of the county’s economy. Perhaps the most important measure of a healthy economy is… jobs. Good jobs. High paying jobs. Jobs that attract and support an entire economic ecosystem. Our commissioners work alongside the Space Coast EDC to help attract big, successful businesses to our region as well as try to make good decisions to support the native growth of business here in Brevard. With the region’s historical focus on technology and exploration and the current space industry expansion into the private sector, it is not only a natural focus, but a particularly effective one as well. “We prioritize space,” Isnardi said. Numbers vary, but the EDC formula states for every high-
technology job a community creates or attracts, four other jobs in that community are generated. Smith grew up in Salem County, NJ, a community that felt the sting of an industry shrinking almost out of existence. It is the memories of a community struggling under the loss of jobs and opportunities that inspire his focus on the issue. “Every time I get an opportunity to help bring a company here, I think about Salem County and how they’d like to have just one of these businesses,” Smith said.
WHAT’S PAST IS PROLOGUE
And it’s these priorities that Isnardi and Smith see as the core of the story of success that is today’s Brevard County and Viera. We are a community in a state of growth and our elected officials say they are working hard to ensure that the growth is built to last. Seated where it is, at the center of the county, Viera is in a unique position to develop its own gravitational pull. New, attractive development with forward-thinking design makes this area attractive to people looking for opportunity from all around the country. The people who work, live, support and celebrate their new community do it all with a viral enthusiasm. “Viera is a poster child for responsible development,” Isnardi said. “Truly responsible growth.” And that massive, aerial photo behind Curt Smith’s desk… it is a historical document, but it is a roadmap and a testament to what might and will be built here as well. Because history is what leads us forward.

Taken over by his son after he and his partner Dr. Donald Ray retired in 2009 and 2010, Dr. Ryan Caudill, along with his business partner Dr. Angela McNeight, have set their sights on continuing and expanding the Caudill reputation in new directions. “So many of our patients come from the Viera area, when it came time to expand, we wanted to create a new office that could serve that area well,” Caudill said. “We’ve been talking about expanding for about 5 years, but it just seemed like the right time now. We’re excited about what we’ll be able to do with the new location.” Targeted to open in the spring of 2019, the latest Caudill location will feature some of the highest technology in orthodontics anywhere in the county. The beach and shorestyle theme of the office will mimic the theme and tone of Caudill’s other locations in Suntree and on Merritt Island.

PATIENT-CENTERED CARE
The staff and leadership at Caudill combine to create a welcoming, unintimidating atmosphere. It is not your typical dental office. Caudill and McNeight embrace not only traditional orthodontic braces but also the clear Invisalign® technology that so many adult patients consider as an attractive option. In fact, Caudill boasts a larger-than-average percentage of adult patients; about 1/3 of their patients are adults. The age-range runs from the typical early-teens patient right up to two male patients in their 90s. Patients entering the two-floor structure will be welcomed in to an expansive and colorful reception area featuring beach and surf-style decoration favored by Caudill, a longtime surfer and Brevard resident since he was 6 years old. The large and comfortable treatment area features a row of examination chairs, each with a laptop to capture and manage patient information, televisions and an expansive salt-water aquarium. Caudill and McNeight have built a patient-centered approach to their practice design to make it easy and comfortable to explore orthodontics to find out if and when it’s an appropriate time to start. They offer a complimentary first consultation that delivers an initial assessment and plan of action whether it’s traditional braces or Invisalign®. The Caudill team has a bright and energetic personality led by McNeight, also a native Brevard resident, who,
in addition to her role as orthodontic specialist, also manages the business’ active Instagram and other social media accounts. “We really couldn’t do what we do without them,” McNeight says of the Caudill team. “We really encourage a team atmosphere that includes the patients. Whenever anyone walks out of here with a new smile, we all celebrate.” The Caudill approach is not to have a home-based office with satellites, but rather three complete and fully operational facilities with specific scheduled hours at each to serve different geographic areas. While the new office will feature a few newer technological items like 3D X-ray technology, all of their offices are outfitted with the same secure, cloud-based system and other technologies that streamline and simplify the orthodontic treatment plans they execute. For example, they utilize a digital scanner to create patient molds with a 3D printer rather than the old technique of capturing impressions in a tray of “goop.” They maintain early hours to serve their patients and their parents before work and school and try to keep hours over school holidays to make it easy on their patients’ schedules.
A BUSINESS THAT GIVES BACK
Both doctors sit on the Executive Board of the Brevard County Dental Society. Caudill is actually a past president of the organization that boasts more than 200 dentists county-wide.
It’s through that organization that they got involved in the American Dental Association’s Give Kids a Smile program that provides more than 5.5 million underserved children nationwide free oral health services. Thousands of volunteers work on the program across the country every year and Caudill and McKneight led 16 volunteers to help 100 kids in Brevard in 2018. “We like to be connected and give back to the community,” McKneight said. “It’s the way we were both raised… to value and care about that.” Both doctors also work to provide career insight to students interested in dentistry or orthodontics. McKneight herself had no experience with orthodontics until she took her orthodontic rotation at the University of Florida Dental School. “We work with the Viera High School dental aid program,” McNeight explains. “Students come in and shadow us for a time to get an introduction to what a career in orthodontics would be like.” They also offer both military and teacher discounts and work with families to make orthodontia as affordable as possible when it’s needed. Both Caudill and McKneight are extremely excited to be opening their new location in Viera. “We really want to grow with the community,” Caudill said. “And our patients are helping us to grow, too!” said McKneight.

BECAUSE CHILDREN NEED A DIFFERENT DENTAL EXPERIENCE
T
HERE’S A LITTLE DOOR INSIDE A BUILDING ON STADIUM PARKWAY THAT YOU MIGHT NOT NOTICE THE FIRST TIME YOU VISIT. IT’S A MINIATURE, WHITE-FRAMED, BLUE DOOR WITH A MAILBOX, SURROUNDED BY A SMALL AND EXCEEDINGLY SWEET COURTYARD WITH A TABLE, AND CHAIRS JUST THE RIGHT SIZE FOR A TOOTH FAIRY.

MAKING DENTISTRY
MAGICAL 24
Adult eyes might, at first, overlook this diminutive scene, but this little door holds the key to everything Dr. Yoshita Patel Hosking is trying to accomplish here at Viera Pediatric Dentistry. Pediatric dentistry is unique in the dental and medical fields. A visit to the dentist is one of the most widespread phobias among adults, so how does a dentist create an environment that gets past the scary and intimidating to an open, welcoming environment that encourages children to take charge of their own dental health with enthusiasm? That’s the question Dr. Patel set out to answer when she opened Viera Pediatric Dentistry this
past fall. Not just with specialized and excellent dental care, but with something else, an openarms approach that, hopefully, encourages her young patients to be excited about coming to visit her and her staff. “So many people say, ‘I had a bad experience as a kid,’” she says. “How powerful would it be to change that? To be the force in someone’s life to make it a positive experience.” And all of that begins with the entrance and lobby of Patel’s new practice. It’s open and colorful and decorated in a contemporary style that young people positively embrace. The front desk is a natural part of the room where you are equally likely to be greeted by Dr. Patel herself as you are any of her staff. Glass partitions separate the treatment and instrument sterilizing areas along the hallway leading to a larger room in the back of the office where a row of reclining dental chairs welcome patients having their teeth examined and cleaned. Televisions are mounted in the ceilings for her patients’ entertainment and distraction and the walls are lined with a revolving selection of artwork from local artists available for both admiration and purchase, if any of her patients or visitors are so inclined. “I wanted to create a happy place,” Patel says, smiling at the business she’s building.
Born in England and educated at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio - Patel is truly a citizen of the world. Patel is from a family with a medical tradition. Her parents came to Viera a decade ago when her father took a job as a radiologist with a local medical group. Her mother is a retired microbiologist. Her brother is an interventional cardiologist in Arizona and her husband Michael is an endodontist (root canal specialist) at Endodontic Associates of Brevard. She embraced Viera when she was first applying to dental programs, living here with her parents. She took up surfing, running on the beach, and along with her husband, decided this was the place to raise their family. “It’s been a good move for our family,” Patel says of their transition to Brevard County. “It’s a great place to raise children and enabled us to create a life where we make the most of our time together.” She worked as a general dentist and with the dental school faculty for a few years until she realized that her happiest and most rewarding days were spent with children and people with special needs. Pediatric and special-needs
patients have become her passion and that passion can be seen in the new space on Stadium Parkway. “Special-needs kids especially inspire me,” she said. “Seeing the world through their eyes is so incredible. It’s reshaped how I practice.” Patel’s pediatric practice treats patients from birth to age 21 and adult patients with special needs as well. She describes her approach as patient-focused and education-based designed to encourage patients to take charge of their own habits and behaviors and truly understand the preventative nature of what they are doing when they take care of their own dental health. It’s through that approach that younger patients develop a positive view of visiting their dentist. “When kids have a little more control and understanding of their visit,” she says, “they know what to expect.” Which brings us full-circle back to the little door outside her main entrance. Yes, it’s a tooth fairy door. But it’s something more. A way of welcoming her patients and their parents into her world and alleviating some of that stress and fear that is so often a part of what adults think of when they think of visiting the dentist. It’s a doorway to a world of imagination that exists so naturally in children. Patel and her husband are, themselves, parents of an almost two-year-old son, Aarav, whose name means “one who is at peace with himself.” It’s a description that could equally be applied to Aarav’s mother and the practice she’s created.

NEW GASTROPUB 28 NORTH OPENS DOOR TO HIGH-END CUISINE IN A FESTIVE ATMOSPHERE
C
HRIS CONNEEN’S WORK HAS BEEN A CENTRAL ATTRACTION AT THE AVENUE VIERA SINCE HE RELOCATED HIS UNIQUE PIZZA GALLERY & GRILL THERE 13 YEARS AGO. TODAY, AND RIGHT NEXT DOOR, HE HAS A NEW VENTURE WITH A DIFFERENT, UNIQUE TAKE ON DINING THAT OPENED ITS DOORS TO THE PUBLIC IN FEBRUARY.
Named for the latitude of Brevard County, 28 North is the newest addition to the menu at Viera’s central shopping district. It is what’s known as a “gastropub,” a high end menu in a casual, energetic and festive pub atmosphere and Conneen and his executive chef, Kyle Hash, are hoping it helps make the area attractive to a new audience of foodies, cocktail aficionados, and sophisticated evening revelers. Locally-sourced foods presented in a refined culinary approach will be combined with a hand-crafted take on specialty cocktails, locally brewed beers and a cozy, comfortable, casual environment, which will be the key to the appeal of 28 North. “There’s nothing like it in Brevard County,” Conneen says. “We’re creating an energetic vibe, unassuming atmosphere and a unique pub experience.”

WE’RE CREATING AN ENERGETIC VIBE, UNASSUMING ATMOSPHERE AND A UNIQUE PUB EXPERIENCE.” OWNER CHRIS CONNEEN

“
I WANTED TO CREATE SOMETHING THAT WOULD BE GOOD FOR THE AVENUE VIERA, SOMETHING UNLIKE ANYTHING ELSE AROUND HERE.” OWNER CHRIS CONNEEN
UPSCALE MENU - CASUAL ATMOSPHERE
The new hot spot is located literally next door to Conneen’s Pizza Gallery & Grill which is celebrating its 29th year in business - the last 13 at The Avenue Viera. 28 North’s more than 4,000 square feet will feature an open kitchen, rolling garage-door room separators, industrial-style decor and another 1,000 square feet of outdoor dining space. Conneen describes the difference between the two restaurants as refined dining brought down to a more casual atmosphere at 28 North compared to a pizza restaurant scaled up at the Pizza Gallery. Formerly Conneen’s executive chef at the Pizza Gallery, Hash returns to the creative partnership after having been the mind in the kitchen at Crush 11 before its recent move from Cocoa Village. “I see it as attractive to everything from a millennial audience to date night to celebrations,” Conneen said. “From the locally-sourced food to edible flowers from Rockledge Gardens, it’s really targeted to people who appreciate the details.”
ENTREPRENEUR/RESTAURANTEUR
Conneen began his career as a restauranteur in Gainesville during his college years when, among other achievements, he built the number one most successful Domino’s Pizza franchise in the country. It was that experience that set him on the trail to create something more unique than the standard cookie-cutter corporate franchise operation.
28
“I have a vision for 2020 and beyond,” he said. “For what this organization looks like. Not just restaurants, but numerous other businesses supporting each other.” Hash’s wife Ericka, another veteran of Conneen’s businesses, will serve as bar manager. “I wanted to put a sign outside during the construction — ‘So, what is a gastropub?’” Conneen said, indicating only the slightest trepidation about the local restaurant audience understanding the term. “What it really means is ‘elevated or purposeful’ and we’ll be providing elevated, purposeful service to match the quality of the food.” Technically, the term is a hybrid of the word gastronomy, or the study of food and public house. So a “gastropub” is actually a place to get a high end meal and service in a pub-like atmosphere. And it’s something Conneen is betting will be a real crowd-pleaser for Brevard. And like his other restaurant venture, he’s adding an element of giving back to the proceedings. “As a man of faith, I consider it a blessing to be a steward of the community to the best of my ability,” he says. And 28 North will be focusing a specific, yet-tobe announced, charitable program on three specific organizations. He considers it a way of investing in the community he loves. “I wanted to create something that would be good for The Avenue Viera,” he said. “Something unlike anything else around here.”

HE VIERA WETLANDS NATURE FESTIVAL IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER! EACH YEAR THE BREVARD COUNTY NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND UTILITY SERVICES PROUDLY HOSTS THE FUN-FILLED WEEKEND EVENT AT THE RITCH GRISSOM MEMORIAL WETLANDS IN VIERA. Located at the end of North Wickham Road, the Viera Wetlands marshes and lakes were designed to mimic natural Central Florida wetlands and are host to a rich diversity of local vegetation and wildlife. Since opening to the public in 2000, the Viera Wetlands have been a favorite eco-tourism destination for bird watchers, nature lovers and local residents alike. In 1991, the Brevard County South Central Water Reclamation Facility was built to provide water treatment services for Suntree, Viera and North Wickham areas. The facility was
built to treat 3 million gallons of wastewater per day. By 1998 the facility was processing so much water it needed a place to distribute excess water that wasn’t being used for local irrigation. By upgrading to a Biological Nutrient Removal Advanced Waste Treatment System, the facility was able to use naturally occurring bacteria to treat the sewage in a manner similar to composting. At the end of the process the excess reclaimed water is then stored in the Wetlands. Using 200 acres of cow pasture, the Viera Wetlands became both an impound for treated water and a natural recreation facility for the Viera community.
PURPOSE OF THE VIERA FESTIVAL
This year, to celebrate its 10-year anniversary, the Viera Wetlands Nature Festival will focus on
raising funds to update and improve the facilities provided to visitors. The approved proposal includes a visitor center, a ranger station and new restroom facilities. The Viera Wetlands have grown in popularity with each passing year. “Over the course of the first seven days of [January] we had 1000 vehicles a day…except for on Saturday when there were 2000,” says Raleigh Berry, the Senior Environmental Scientist for the Environmental Resources Management Program. The berms which run through the Viera Wetlands and allow visitors to enjoy the scenery from the comfort of their cars were not originally constructed with the intention of having over 200,000 vehicles drive on them each year. “If we intend to allow vehicles to have the unhindered access they have always enjoyed, we require major funding to harden the roads,” says Berry. For the time being, volunteers have used recycled crushed concrete to patch holes and make temporary fixes to the berms. “My volunteers, bless them…have provided the Viera community with over half a million dollars’ worth of in-kind contributions since they began, 10 years ago,” Berry proudly states. At the entrance to the Viera Wetlands there is a donation box in which visitors are encouraged to place contributions to MY VOLUNTEERS, BLESS show their appreciation THEM…HAVE PROVIDED for this community THE VIERA COMMUNITY amenity. The donations received are used to WITH OVER HALF A MILLION make critical upgrades, DOLLARS’ WORTH OF IN-KIND maintain the Viera CONTRIBUTIONS SINCE THEY Wetlands, and to support volunteer efforts. AYING VIERA RESIDENT DR ROBERT LAMB HAS AN IMPRESSIVE RESUME WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT. FROM EARNING A BACHELOR OF ARTS, A MASTERS IN MUSIC AND A DOCTOR OF MUSICAL ARTS, TO TEACHING MORE THAN A DOZEN MUSICAL COURSES, DR LAMB’S PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS ARE CONSIDERABLE. IN 2006, HE ACCEPTED THE JULIUS HERFORD DISSERTATION PRIZE FOR “MICHELRICHARD DE LALANDE’S IN CONVERTENDO DOMINOS: A PERFORMANCE EDITION WITH PERFORMING COMMENTARY."
He first moved to Brevard County in 1998 and in 2003 purchased a home in Auburn Lakes. Fifteen years later, Dr. Lamb still loves the community as much now as he did so many years ago. “I enjoy the lake view I have behind my home while having coffee in the mornings with my family.” BREVARD COMMUNITY CHORUS His favorite SPRING CONCERT amenities MASS IN B MINOR – BACH J.S. in Viera are May 4, 2019 at 7:30 PM the nature King Center for the Performing Arts trails which 3865 N Wickham Rd weave through Melbourne, FL 32935 the various www.brevardcommunity-chorus.org neighborhoods and parks. While riding his bicycle, he will occasionally stop along the path to read a good book and soak up the warm Florida sunshine. It is hard to believe he can find the time to relax around town with his extensive workload. During the day, you will find him in and out of various classrooms as the Professor of Music, Director of Choral Activities, and Chair of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Eastern Florida State College. Several nights a week he serves as the conductor for the Brevard Community Chorus performing two concerts a year. “The unique moments I have with them happen every Tuesday night and our favorite pieces are what-ever we are working on at the moment,” he said.
34
When he has a spare moment, he is also eager to offer his expertise to the local community. During the springtime, ensembles from different schools in Viera begin preparing for music and performance assessments. Dr. Lamb is often asked to listen to these performances and make suggestions, “I’m always honored to help and our county has some of the most highly respected music programs in the state. The teachers who live here and dedicate their creative energies to Brevard’s students are marvelous!” This year the Brevard Community Chorus will celebrate its 50th anniversary. In May, the chorus will perform J.S. Bach’s B “Minor Mass” which Dr. Lamb proudly says is “…perhaps one of the top 5 choral pieces in the western canon of choral music.” Undertaking the preparation for a performance of that caliber is a testament to the musical range of the chorus and Dr. Lamb. “I can’t think of a more monumental piece of music that represents what the chorus is about and what they are capable of performing,” he said. This winter they will perform Handel’s “Messiah” and it was the first concert piece ever performed by the Brevard Community Chorus back in 1968.

Each member of the group provides coverage in a zone. In this manner, the group can tackle the projects without any one area stopping the progress forward. “We use technology to our advantage and log the issues into the online portal created by Brightview,” said committee member Jana Phillips. “It is pretty simple, the issues are acknowledged and then solved.” During our interview we noticed how genuine everyone was and how happy they were to help and be a part of the community. “We fix certain areas but really the focal points around Tavistock are important for home value,” said committee member Kevin Murrin. What is their biggest challenge? “Keeping residents on the paths that were created,” said Murrin. “We want everyone to stay safe and spend the extra time and resources on enhancements not repairs.” “We are proud of our community and with this group dividing up the tasks no one person is taking on everything,” said Dina Ziemian and

The five member team of the Solerno District Association presents solutions to the HOA board after working with their landscaper, Brightview, on how and when they notice something that needs a little extra care or replacement. “The HOA board has turned the responsibility over to a group that works diligently to provide solutions,” said committee chair Jeff Stoy. The round a bout on Tavistock Drive was their first project and it has become a beautiful centerpiece and entrance to the local park. “The critical combination to our success is in the partnerships between the HOA board, landscape committee and the landscaper. We are able to get things accomplished quickly after all the due diligence has been done,” said Stoy.

TODD POKRYWA, PRESIDENT
H
appy New Year, Viera! Like many of us, at the stroke of midnight on December 31st, I started making resolutions for the year to come: resolutions on improvement, innovations, creation and the continued passionate pursuit of a vision unveiled nearly 30 years ago. My resolutions were about Viera. 2019 will be a big year for Viera in terms of infrastructure, residential and commercial development. The new Viera Boulevard interchange is slated to open by June and will provide Viera with another point of ingress and egress for the community, creating increased interest in mixed-use development opportunities. New commercial development adjacent to this new interchange is currently underway on the east side of the Viera Boulevard Interchange with the construction of a self-storage facility and the complete remodel of the Viera East Village Center where the popular new Earth Fare is now open for business. The Viera Company is also currently investing more than $2

2019 WILL BE AN EXCITING YEAR FOR VIERA
million into widening Viera Boulevard east toward US 1 in order to support the traffic patterns of the new interchange. Another major infrastructure project scheduled to begin during late spring/ early summer 2019 will be west of I-95; here you will see the construction of the first phase of the Lake Andrew Drive extension heading south from Viera Boulevard. In addition, during late 2019, construction for the extension of Lake Andrew Drive from its current terminus at the entrance to Bridgewater, south of Wickham Road, toward the Pineda Interchange, will commence. Viera has witnessed noteworthy growth in its number of residents, businesses and visitors over the past couple of years. This growth in population or ‘critical mass’, coupled with the sports tournament activity at USSSA Space Coast Stadium and Viera Regional Park were the catalysts that compelled The Viera Company to commence the development of the Viera Town Center. Last year, the first anchor in the Viera Town Center opened with the new Fairfield Inn & Suites at Lake Andrew Drive and Town Center Avenue, the luxury Centre Pointe Apartments at Viera Town Center are under construction and a ribbon cutting was held for the new Viera Town Center Dog Park and Playground facility. This year and beyond, we resolve to continue adding new commercial, residential, and infrastructure development in the Viera Town Center as it grows into the envisioned central gathering place for our community. As we head into spring of 2019, we resolve that new residential developments and associated amenities will continue south of Wickham Road in Addison
Village. The Addison Village Club, an amenity center and clubhouse for most of our Addison Village neighborhoods, is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion by late 2019. This facility will provide Addison Village residents access to resort style amenities, meeting spaces, tennis and pickleball courts, and much more. The new neighborhoods of Stonecrest, Reeling Park, Kerrington, Loren Cove, and Trasona Cove, Seville and Valencia will continue to mature as new residents and neighbors move in. Our extensive trail system continues to expand through our newest neighborhoods and commercial areas and new community parks have been added in central Viera for residents and pets to enjoy. Our community is ever evolving to meet the needs and desires of its existing and future residents, businesses and visitors. Each year provides us with new opportunities to raise the bar for our master-planned community to evolve. I resolve to continue seeking the next new innovation that will make our community better, to keep pushing past our goals so we may set new ones and to continue working diligently to make Viera a home to all those it attracts as a Top 25 best-selling master-planned community in the nation. From all of us at The Viera Company, we wish you a Happy Spring…it should be an exciting one.
