14
water. Return to the heat until it becomes liquid. Transfer to a heatproof container and allow to cool before adding the orange segments.
To make the pastry
Put the butter in a mixing bowl. Add the flour, salt and sugar and work together with your fingertips. Add the egg yolk, then the water a little at a time until it all comes together. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Pre-heat the oven to 180 ˚C/160 ˚C(fan)/gas mark 4. Roll out the pastry and line a 26cm flan tin. Cover with greaseproof paper and add baking beans or dry rice. Blind bake for 20 minutes, remove rice/beans and paper and return to oven for a further 5 minutes to finish cooking. Remove from oven and then turn it down to 140˚C/120 ˚C(fan)/ gas mark 1.
To make the chocolate filling
Whisk the whole eggs, egg yolks and sugar in an electric mixer at full speed until light and fluffy. Melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl over a pan of simmering water, then fold into the egg mixture with the ginger. Pour into the pastry case and bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove and leave to cool. Recipe provided by Marc Eyres @ The Countryman, Staverton www.thecountrymanstaverton.co.uk

Our top tips on the perfect way to store your clothes Clothes storage can be a headache at this time of year. Wardrobe space is at a premium, with winter woollies sitting alongside sparkly dresses and suits for the party season. If you’ve spent time and money choosing your clothes, then you need to look after them properly. We’ve asked Diane from Terracotta Boutique in Rugby, to give us her expert knowledge on how to keep everything in tip top condition.
Out of season
Firstly, if you are going to store certain items away for another season, make sure you wash or dry clean them first, this will protect them from moths who love perfume or finding a remnant of food on fabric. Do not store clothes in plastic as fabric needs to breathe. It is best to layer with acid free tissue or wrap them in an old sheet. Store out of season clothes up on a high shelf in the wardrobe or, if you are short of room, use the zipped carriers available in most hardware stores.
Fold or hang?
Everyone thinks they need massive amounts of wardrobe space but drawers and shelves can be just as useful.
and the shape will be ruined. Instead, fold knitwear in neat piles on shelves. Try and keep same colours and similar weight of fabric together to make it easier to plan your outfits on cold mornings. Casual wear: These can be folded on shelves or in drawers, items such as leggings, tees and casual pants do not need to be hung. Jeans: These are made of strong, durable fabric and can be stored either folded or hung.
Mind your hangers
Wire hangers from dry cleaners are not good for your clothes and NEVER leave their plastic bags on your garments. Instead, invest in some decent hangers specially built for the purpose. Use non-slip hangers for delicate fabrics, and wooden hangers for shirts, jackets and smart trousers.
Knitwear: Never hang your knitwear, it grows if hung
20
Please mention The Village Emporium when responding to adverts
Feature Suits/jackets: Hang jackets and suits together, keep your smarter pieces in one place so they are easy to find in the morning. Trousers : Ensure your trousers have proper trouser hangers and store by length, ideally from cropped through to long to make them easier to find. Hang belts over the hanger too, but make sure you keep them away from delicate fabrics. Occasion wear: Clothes for special occasions need to be stored carefully, but you don’t need to wear it every week (unless your lifestyle is terribly glamourous). Instead, keep your special occasion wear together at the back of the wardrobe leaving daywear easily accessible at the front.
Your capsule wardrobe
Colour code: Group your clothes into colour groups will make it easier to find a certain colour when you are choosing what to wear. If a certain accessory, such as scarf or bag, always goes with a certain colour, store that close by. Shoes/boots : always store clean and polished, use shoe trees to keep in shape or stuff the toes with paper if you don’t have them. Store them in the bottom of the wardrobe and, if you have room, in a top cupboard then store out of season shoes in there Scarves/ties. Either fold scarves or ties in a drawer or hang them on hooks at the back of the wardrobe door, so you can easily coordinate your outfit. Once again, try to keep colours and styles together.
If you are looking for the perfect home for your clothes, our Daval fitted wardrobes can be designed to perfectly fit your needs – whether you have 40 Saville Row suits or a pair of shoes for every day of the month. We can incorporate full hanging for long dresses or coats, half hanging for shirts and trousers, chests of drawers for underwear, shelving towers for jumpers and jeans and not forgetting pull out shelving for shoes. We can even integrate LED lighting which activates when you open the doors, so you can really see what you’re doing. Call into our showroom to talk to our design team, who will be happy to create the dressing room of your dreams. The Big Garden Birdwatch The Big Garden Birdwatch is the world’s largest garden wildlife survey, and 2018 will mark its 39th year. It is run by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) and will take place on 27th , 28th and 29th January 2018. All we have to do is spend just one hour watching and recording the birds in our garden or a local green space. Then we send our results to the RSPB. Close to half-a- million people joined in last year counting more than eight million birds and providing valuable information about the wildlife using our gardens in winter. We’re all familiar with the sight of bluetits on a bird feeder or a cheery robin hunting for grubs but it might come as a shock to know that some of our most-loved species are in desperate need of our help because their numbers have dropped dramatically. Species such as starlings and greenfinches have seen their numbers decline by 79 and 59 per cent respectively since the first Birdwatch in 1979. 40 years worth of data allows the RSPB to monitor trends and helps us understand how birds are faring, and what potential issues they might be facing. With results from so many gardens, they are able to create a snapshot of the visiting birds at this time of year across the UK. So even if you see nothing at all during your Big Garden Birdwatch hour, that’s important information too! The RSPB also asks participants to log some of the other wildlife they have seen throughout the year. In 2018
26
people are being asked to look out for badgers, foxes, grey squirrels, red squirrels, muntjac deer, roe deer, frogs and toads. To take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch 2018, participants should watch the birds in the garden or local park for one hour at some point over the three allocated days. Only the birds that land in the garden or local park should be counted, don’t count those just flying over. There is also a parallel event; Big Schools’ Birdwatch takes place which takes place during the period 2nd January-23rd February 2018. Further information about this can be found at www.rspb.org.uk/schoolswatch Both the Big Garden Birdwatch and the Big Schools’ Birdwatch are part of the RSPB Giving Nature a Home campaign. This is aimed at tackling the habitat-crisis facing the UK’s wildlife. The charity is asking people to provide a place for wildlife in their gardens or outdoor spaces: this could involve putting up a nest box for birds, creating a pond for frogs, or building a home for hedgehogs. There is a free Big Garden Birdwatch pack, which includes a bird identification chart, plus advice to help you attract wildlife to your garden. Text BIRD to 70030 or visit www.rspb.org.uk/birdwatch. Registration opens on 13th December 2017.

The roofline area is the most exposed and vulnerable feature of any property. It is ravaged by all weathers and is susceptible to hazards such as blocked gutters which can cause timber fascias to rot quickly. There is, thank goodness, an answer to this problem in the form of a permanent cure. Not only will it alleviate the worry of expensive replacement of rotten timbers, but also eliminate the need for repainting every few years.

Iron man Shaun Higgs, co-founder at Sheaf Street Health Store shares his fitness journey from sofa to Ironman success. Up to the age of 30, my fitness and weight were easily manageable but then things started slowing down, starting with my metabolism. The weight crept on and my motivation waned. By 2013, aged 46, I hit my biggest ever weight of 18st 3lb. The pivotal moment came when I couldn’t tie my shoe laces and breathe at the same time.
Well, in 2015, I did it! In bitter cold and driving rain, I completed the Outlaw at Nottingham in 16hrs 13mins. The following year, I set off on one of the toughest Ironman distance races in the world – Ironman Lanzarote – but was unfortunately cut short half-way due an accident on the bike.
Once I made the decision to change, help came in the shape of two books, and local gym, The Training Shed in Daventry. ‘The 4-Hour Body’ by Tim Ferris helped me take control of my diet, and ‘Can’t Swim, Can’t Ride, Can’t Run’ by Andy Holgate, got me chatting to like-minded people in an unofficial triathlon club called The Pirates.
However, four weeks later I completed The Outlaw IM distance again in a personal best of 14hrs 55mins. In this same year, my wife and I opened Sheaf Street Health Store in Daventry!
This all led to me losing four stones and completing the Daventry Sprint Triathlon on my 47th birthday. I was hooked, and wanted to take this as far as I could. The following year, I completed my first ever halfmarathon, two standard distance duathlons, two sprint triathlons, bought a wetsuit and completed two standard triathlons, and finally two half Ironman distance triathlons. I was happy with my medal haul - but one was still missing…the full Ironman distance (2.4mile swim, 112mile bike plus marathon at the end).
32
This year, key highlights have been a half IM race (The Grafman) and my third full IM distance called the Lakesman in Keswick. I’ve met a lot of wonderful people along the way who have inspired and encouraged me, and I enjoy paying that forward, helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. Whether it’s a 5k or an Ironman, if you’re on the start line you’re beating everyone on the sofa. Meet Shaun and the team at Sheaf Street Health Store, 20 Sheaf Street, Daventry NN11 4AB.

Burns Night Robert Burns was a Scottish bard, born in 1759 who wrote many poems and lyrics during his life. His most famous work is probably Auld Lang Syne, sang at New Year and which translates as ‘times long past’. Burns is one of Scotland’s most important cultural icons as many of his works addressed the political and civil issues of the time. Robert Burns’ friends and acquaintances held the first Burns supper on July 21, the anniversary of his death, in the late 1700s. This date was later changed to January 25th, which marks his birthday. Burns suppers gradually became a tradition and are now held by people and organizations with Scottish origins worldwide. At Burns Night events, many men and women wear kilts or other clothes made from their family tartan. At the centre of the supper is the haggis, which is brought to the table to the sound of bagpipes. For the uninitiated haggis is a savoury pudding containing ‘sheep’s pluck’ (the heart, liver, and lungs of the animal) which are minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, stock and salt, then encased in the animal’s stomach - though artificial casings are more commonly used now. It can be baked or boiled and although it sounds quite revolting is surprisingly delicious, at least to this author! It’s served with a whisky sauce and some neeps and tatties - a mixture of swede and potato which works beautifully with the rough, oaty haggis. Cranachan is the traditional desert of cream, raspberries and oatmeal. It should all be washed down with a good whisky. Have a great Burns night. Gun cuireadh do chupa thairis le slainte agus sonas. (Translation: May your cup overflow with health and happiness)
Cranachan Ingredients 570ml/1 pint double cream 85g/3oz porridge oats 7 tbsp whisky 3 tbsp honey 450g/1lb raspberries fresh mint, to garnish Method Toast the oats in a frying pan, being careful not to burn them. Lightly whip the cream until it reaches the soft peak stage, then fold in the whisky, honey, oatmeal and raspberries. Serve in dessert glasses garnished with a few raspberries and mint.

Sorry my tax return is late but... The list, which was released ahead of the 31 January deadline for filing tax returns online, contains claims that were used in unsuccessful appeals against penalties imposed for late returns. Failed excuses included: • My tax papers were left in the shed and a rat ate them
• My laptop broke, and so did my washing machine
• I’m not a paperwork-orientated person – I always relied on my sister to complete my returns but we have now fallen out
• My niece had moved in and she made the house so untidy I could not find my log-in details to complete my return online
• My accountant has been ill
• My husband ran over my laptop
• My dog ate my tax return
• I had a cold which took a long time to go
• I will be abroad on deadline day with no internet access so will be unable to file
• I had an argument with my wife and went to Italy for five years
An initial fixed £100 penalty is charged for late tax returns, even if there is no tax to pay, followed by further penalties if the return remains outstanding. HMRC has said that it will not accept spurious excuses for late returns, but recognises that some taxpayers may have difficulties completing them on time.

Step back in time…. Local to you
Braunston - a canalside gem Snapshot, a day in the life of… Picture the scene – it is the end of the 1700s. The Grand Junction Canal, later known as the Grand Union Canal, runs from the River Thames to a junction with the Oxford Canal here at Braunston, and on to the north. The horse plods slowly along the canal towpath, pulling the narrowboat steadily, gliding through the calm waters. A voice shouts “tunnel ahead” and two men get into position back to back in the centre of the boat. They face outwards, eyes determined, straight forwards. Someone hops off the boat to untie the horse and lead him safely over the top.
synchronised in their movements, working steadily and deliberately, together as one.
Powering the Industrial Revolution The canals were the facilitators of the Industrial Revolution, and Braunston’s canals hold another distinction – they are the waterways which join the north and the south of England together.
The two men on the boat lean backwards, facing the ceiling, horizontally on a plank across the middle of the narrowboat. The “leggers” brace themselves as they muster their strength to side step carefully along the tunnel wall, propelling the boat in a smooth forward motion. The tunnel is narrow and pitch black inside, but the men know what they are doing. They have done this many times before. The work is slow as the tunnel is over a mile long. The men concentrate on the job in hand. They navigate expertly around the very slight S-bend, a ‘kink’ in the construction which all the workers are aware of. The reason for this shape is a miscalculation when setting out the line of the tunnel at the bottom of the working shafts. Regardless, it is still a remarkable feat of engineering, lined with three layers of brick gathered from a local quarry. The process of “legging” the narrow boat through this tunnel is tiring but thoroughly routine. The men are

The Braunston canal network has a history dating back to the eighteenth century, as a thriving hub of working life. Imagine the sheer hard work and determination it took to create the majestic infrastructure in the first place. The tunnels were worked on entirely by candlelight. For the workers who made their livelihood here, the canal was integral to their way of life. Before the coming of the railways, canals were the most successful means of transporting goods from one part of the country to the other, due to the efficiency of movement by water, where the load moves with relatively low friction. This advantage is recognised as inspiring the development of the canal system throughout the country.

Step back in time…. Local to you
Braunston today – still a key canal destination The boating community is still prevalent today, and Braunston is well known as being the heart of the waterways. To come back here can often feel, for boaters and their families, like coming home. The tunnel and locks of Braunston, including the curious stop lock, are wonderfully preserved parts of our working waterway heritage. Pleasure boating is flourishing; there are great places to eat and characterful pubs embracing their local history – there is even a floating café!
Swapping horses for steam power By 1833, the canals were booming – practicality was the primary concern, so the Oxford canal was shortened to avoid some of the twisting route from Braunston to Napton. The idea saved precious time when transporting goods.
The tranquil waters and abundant wildlife can inspire a feeling of peace. A respite from a stressful day job, both for those who live here and those who come to visit. Why not take a closer look?
A new junction was created here, called the ‘Braunston Turn’, using innovative materials such as cast-iron for its pair of distinctive bridges which spanned the busy commercial thoroughfare, and can still be seen today. This increased canal traffic produced more work for the “leggers” whose roles were already dangerous and physically demanding. How much would they have given for an engine? Yet, it would not be until 1886 that some companies introduced steam-powered boats. These “steamers” were mostly used for long distance runs between London, Braunston, Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham. They linked the industrial heartlands of the country to its seaports and could be described as a key aspect in transforming Britain into an industrial country.

I don’t care what Buzz said the action figure is going – the annual post-Christmas battle. There is a time, a pivotal point in the year, when your children’s possessions reach critical mass. It usually occurs around this time of the year and the ‘mass’ that has gone critical consists of all those brilliant small gifts that arrived at Christmas. On Christmas morning surrounded by wrapping paper and sipping Bucks Fizz all those packages that the kids opened seemed so nice. Kind relatives and friends had all gone to the trouble to send little plastic knick-knacks, glittering gewgaws and oddments of puzzles and ornaments that made the morning all the more exciting. Admittedly by the time the Queen has come and gone several of the smaller bits from the gifts have painfully embedded themselves in your Christmas slippered feet, but that is all part of the festivities. Now, a few weeks after the holiday season, it is a totally different kettle of fish. The nice thoughtful gift of an easy to assemble model that your offspring spent an hour or so making turned out to be just as easy to disassemble and seems to have spontaneously done so all over their bedroom floor. it is time for a clear out. I will not hear the protestations that they still wear this and that they still play with the other when clearly this is not the case, it is clear out time. Here are my rules.
1. When did it last get used? If the answer is more than a month into the charity bag it goes. 2. Does it fit? You must be ruthless here because no matter how much they love the glittery t-shirt or the silly slippers the child is not getting smaller so they will never fit again. In it goes. 3. Does it really have sentimental value? I understand the desire to hang on to a fluffy teddy but never played with plastic action figures are not the same. Quoting Toy Story will not work. In it goes. 4. Is it seasonal? Christmas based stuff is doomed because in the early part of the following year nobody needs a santa hat. In the bag. Anything that falls foul of the rules goes into the charity bag and that is where the battle is won. All those things that the kids really don’t need go off to benefit someone else and that usually is enough to get consent and at least reach a stage where you can see the floor. YOUR FACEBOOK FIVE A DAY
Being active on your Facebook Business Page a few times a day is essential. Below is a daily checklist of the five main activities that we would recommend. (Although there are many more activities that you can do.) 1. Post a minimum of twice a day, when your network is online the most. (Check your insights to find out the best time to post.) Think about video or live streaming for maximum impact. 2. Check your posts from yesterday. Click on the people who have“liked” the post, and invite those to your page who have not yet given your business the thumbs up. 3. Check your notifications. Welcome new pages, reply to comments and messages. 4. “Like” a minimum of two other businesses each day, then click “page feed” and interact with the businesses for additional brand awareness (this technique works well for local businesses). 5. Share content that is trending today, the latest industry news, or information from your RSS feeds that you have set up in your social media dashboard. For the love of lichen During the often bleak months of January and February there is little to see in in our hedgerows. Even the last few remaining berries have been picked clean by hungry birds desperate for nourishment to produce energy and keep them warm. But all is not so bleak and not everything is dormant and waiting for Spring to burst forth…because if you look closely most trees and shrubs are covered in lichen! Patchworks of crusty layers in grey/green and often orange/rusty deposits cover branches and twigs to create a beautiful colour tint on a cold day. But with over 2000 different species in Britain, is lichen friend or foe? Often it can look as if a plant is suffocating under the thick cover of lichen but not at all because lichen is an extraordinary living organism which exists in a rare mutually agreeable balanced relationship between… fungus and algae!! I’ll try to explain – lichen are cells of algae and live happily in little strands of fungus which are attracted to trees, shrubs and indeed the minerals in stones and rocks – hence the plethora of lichen that grow on gravestones,
rocks and walls. The fungus collects moisture and in return the algae (lichen) make food from the sun and air which then feeds the fungus!! So lichen exists on but doesn’t damage it’s host at all. Lichen provide huge benefits to the environment, vitally, as little mini forests under which lots of creatures live and provide a vital food source for birds particularly in winter. However, lichen grow in exposed areas and rely heavily on moisture and nutrients in the air and thus can act as an indicator of air pollution. The crusty varieties tend to survive in more polluted areas and the common yellow/orange colour is a clear indicator of nitrogen rich air. Often high levels of sulphur dioxide (acid rain) prevents lichen from growing at all, but in coastal areas particularly in the north of Scotland where the air is very clean, rare bushy varieties lichen grow freely. So next time you are in your garden or out walking stop and marvel at beautiful lichen! Sue x Garden Gate Flowers Tel: 07933736988 E-mail: sue@gardengaterugby.co.uk www.gardengaterugby.co.uk

Fit not thin in 2018 Many people will make a resolution to lose weight in 2018. To be fair lots of us made the same resolution on January 1st 2017...and 2016... What if we’re looking at it all wrong? What if a better resolution was to get fit in 2018? Tackle your fitness Obesity is linked to cardiovascular disease but that’s not the whole story. Lack of fitness also plays a role. Tackle the fitness and a side effect may be that you also tackle the obesity, getting fit is way more fun than dieting. If we focussed on how far we could run or cycle, or how many push-ups we can do, we would naturally be more active and less obese because focussing on fitness actually makes weight loss easier. The fitter you get the more you view food as fuel and you naturally want to eat high quality nutritious food because it helps you get fitter. It’s positive reinforcement.
Thin doesn’t mean healthy!
that not-thin equates to not-healthy. We need to stop being obsessed with weight-loss and thinness. If we get involved in more conversations about fitness rather than how to lose extra pounds, our fat-bias would diminish and maybe more overweight people would feel comfortable joining the gym or that exercise class they always fancied. Both fat and thin people would be healthier if they aimed for fitness rather than thinness. Even if overweight people stay overweight, they still get all the protective benefits of exercise. And there are many thin people who are terribly unfit and are at risk of cardiovascular disease. Thin does not always or even often equate to healthy, in spite of popular myth. It’s not an either-or situation but if you only aim to end 2018 thinner you might succeed, you might not, but you’ll still be unfit. If you aim for fitness you will hopefully lose weight, gain confidence, friends, a new skill or two. So go for a different new year’s resolution in 2018 fit not necessarily thin.
Society is horribly biased against fat people. If fitness was the Holy Grail we wouldn’t automatically assume

Slow cooker mushroom risotto Serves 4 Prep: 30 mins Cook: 1 hr
Ingredients
WALL
1 onion, finely chopped 1 tsp olive oil 250g chestnut mushrooms, sliced 800ml vegetable stock 50g porcini 300g wholegrain rice Small bunch parsley, finely chopped Grated parmesan-style cheese to serve Heat the slow cooker if necessary. Fry the onion in the oil in a frying pan with a splash of water for 10 minutes or until it is soft but not coloured. Add the mushroom slices and stir them around until they start to soften and release their juices. Meanwhile pour the stock into a saucepan and add the porcini, bring to a simmer and then leave to soak. Tip the onions and mushrooms into the slow cooker and add the rice, stir it in well. Pour over the stock and porcini leaving any bits of sediment in the saucepan (or pour the mixture through a fine sieve). Cook on high for 1 hour and then check the consistency – the rice should be cooked. If it needs a little more liquid stir in a splash of stock. Stir in the parsley and season. Serve with the parmesan.

The Travel Locker…. Local to you
The British Motor Museum One of the best in the world! Do you remember your first motor car? I recently visited the British Motor Museum at Gaydon, Warwickshire, home to the world’s largest collection of over 400 British Cars, from the early 1900s to the present day.
Having owned a small sports car some years ago, I was particularly interested in the collection of British sports cars. What a delight to walk amongst such much-loved marques! Morgan, Lotus, Triumph, McLaren and Aston Martin. They were all there!
The first vehicles I viewed were four of the most iconic vehicles ever to be manufactured in Britain, the very first Series 1 Land Rover from 1948, the first Morris Mini Minor to roll off the production line in 1959, a 1967 E-Type Jaguar Series 1 Coupe and a Rolls Royce Silver Phantom from 2002. What a line-up of British Classic motor vehicles!
There were also many interactive exhibits, the touch screen panels allowing visitors to explore more detailed information about the motor manufacturers, advertising promotions and famous faces associated with the cars on show, such as Colin Chapman and Donald Healey. I was in motor heaven!
One of the first displays to attract my attention was John Carter’s Garage, styled on a 1930`s independent garage. The garage contained many original fixtures, fittings, and objects from the period. It was so authentic; I could almost smell the oil and petrol! I would recommend visitors join one of the free guided tours which are led by knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides around the dedicated zones including Motorsport, Design and Concept, Jaguar, Land Rover, the Royal cars, Film and television and a motorsport revue.
62
The Royal Collection included the first bespoke Royal Land Rover state review car and a 1971 Rover P5B, the personal property of HM the Queen, but on long-term loan to the Museum. A couple of royal treasures! The film and television vehicles included the Land Rover Defender used in the opening sequence of the James Bond Skyfall movie, the Tomb Raider Defender, the Land Rover ‘Judge Dredd’ City Cab, Lady Penelope`s FAB 1 from the 2004 Thunderbirds movie and a replica of the DeLorean from Back to the Future 2.

The Travel Locker…. Local to you Another couple of cars that drew my interest were the two Morris Mini Cooper S which won the Monte Carlo Rally of 1967. In their red racing livery with white tops, several headlight spots, and authentic rally stickers they looked wonderful. At the Collections Centre, another 250 motor cars were on display. Visitors can view mechanics at work in the restoration workshops, giving an insight into how the Museum both stores and restores the vehicles in its collection. The Museum tries to rotate as many cars as possible into the main collection from its reserve collection’s treasure house. The Museum Website is excellent, providing a clear, detailed, colourful, bright and easily accessible guide to everything you need to know about visiting the museum and what you will find when you get there. The site also includes conference facilities and a clean, smart restaurant /café serving food and drinks throughout the day. There is also a gift shop with a wide choice of Motoringrelated gift ideas. A percentage of every purchase supports the charitable work of the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust, to continue their fine work. The British Motor Museum has one of the best car collections in the world, but it is much more than just a motor museum. From a comprehensive archive and picture library, motoring clubs, rallies, group visits, to weddings, corporate team building, and conference facilities, there is a lot more to be discovered. Whether visiting as an individual, couple, family, school or other organisation, the museum is well equipped to provide for the needs and interests of everyone, being fully inclusive. The Museum has hundreds of specialist motoring events throughout the year, so there is sure to be something to satisfy the interests of `petrol head` to `curious observer, throughout the year! I had an enjoyable day out and would fully recommend a trip to the British Motor Museum, for a fun filled and educational day out.
