Shefford & Sandy Hockey Club
We are a community based not for profit family club based in Sandy. We are committed to making hockey fun, accessible and inclusive for girls and boys aged 6 – 65+. We welcome all abilities and we are very proud of the fact we have generations playing together. Whether you want to play, umpire, coach or help on the sidelines, we run qualified courses. We have a thriving junior section where our focus is offering opportunities for children to play hockey whatever their ability or previous level of experience. We play against local clubs, enter tournaments and leagues in the local area as well as hosting junior hockey camps. We enjoy watching children develop their team spirit and gain a sense of achievement. We like to develop youngsters to a senior level. We have 4 men’s teams and 3 ladies teams looking to put a fourth together. We have opportunities for indoor, mixed, social and competitive hockey. We have had several overseas tours and we are always looking to experience new adventures We run weekly training sessions for juniors and adults on Tuesday evenings with an international coach. Senior matches are Saturdays and juniors 13 and under are on Sundays. From 13+ juniors can play in adult leagues. We would like to invite you to come and see what we can offer both playing and socially. Contact Jade for more information on jade.gravell@yahoo.co.uk or visit www.sheffordandsandy.com
