This summer is gearing up for the Bensenville Park District to be one for the history books. With the unimaginable happening last summer, camps not running, our water park not opening, and a plethora of other staple activities going virtual, we could not be more excited for this summer. WATER PARK Opening day is just around the corner on Memorial Day and we cannot be more excited. Things at our Water Park will look a bit different this year to keep everyone safe, but it’s still going to be a blast. This year there will be 2 different reservable time slots per day, 12-3pm and 4-7pm. Admission will be $10 per person per timeslot. And because our residents deserve it, they have the opportunity to purchase a 10-pass card for only $50. The Bensenville Water Park offers a full lineup of swim lessons for youth of all ages and abilities. Our swim instructors will get your kiddos swimming like a fish in no time. We will also be hosting our ever popular Decorate the Deck event on 6/12 and 6/26, where we provide the chalk and the pool deck is your canvas. SUMMER CAMPS We are excited to once again be offering our lineup of UNDER THE SUN summer camps. Camps will look a bit different to keep everyone as safe as possible, as we adhere to all IDPH and CDC guidelines, but we know we’ll still have a blast. During each exciting day, campers will participate in a wide variety of engaging games, projects, crafts, and of course, daily swim time at the water park. Visit BvilleParks.org/Programs/Camps for details on each camp we offer. Time is almost up, so don’t miss out, on our early bird discount. Register by 6 pm Friday, May 7 and save $10 off each full session (10 days). You may also take advantage of our multiple child discount during this time.
PROGRAMMING After a long break from in-person programming it feels good to once again be offering a full lineup of it. While class sizes are smaller and curriculums have been modified to promote social distancing and other safety measures, our Summer Program Guide is packed with programming for those of all ages and interests. From dance to art to paddle boat tours, we have something for you to enjoy this summer. Be sure to check out our Summer Program Guide, if you haven’t already, to find something new to experience this summer.
TINY TOT PRESCHOOL Tiny Tot preschool resumes in-person this upcoming August, and we cannot be more excited. Our curriculum, based on Illinois Early Learning Standards, emphasizes self-discovery, teamwork, and independent thinking. Children are introduced to Language Arts, Literacy, Math, Social Studies, Science and Nature Exploration through a variety of learning centers and hands-on activities. Spaces are limited and filling quickly, so get your tiny tots signed up early. 10
