"Welcome to Brite Star Ranch! This is where Missy, her dad Mr. G, and her Nana live. It’s a place where every animal is safe and loved.”
Nana waved from the porch. "There’s no better place to be than right here at Brite Star Ranch!"
"Missy’s best friends, the 4 Sisters, live in the vineyard next door. Together, they help take care of the ranch.”
Sam asked, "So, what’s the plan today, Missy?"
Missy grinned, "First, we check on the animals. Then, we brainstorm ways to help the ranch!"
Whit said, "I hope the chickens laid lots of eggs. I love collecting them!"
"Tom, the ranch caretaker, knows everything about animals. He and his loyal dog, Harley, help keep the ranch running.”
Tom smiled, "Taking care of animals is a full-time job, girls. Are you up for the challenge?"
Brooke nodded, "Of course! We love them!" Harley barked happily, wagging his tail.
"But the ranch is struggling. There’s not enough money to take care of all the animals, and Mr. G worries about what to do.”
Mr. G sighed, "Missy, I love this ranch, but feeding and caring for so many animals is getting harder every day."
Missy placed her hand on his arm, "We’ll find a way, Dad. Brite Star Ranch is too special to give up on."
"Missy loves the animals more than anything. She knows she has to find a way to help.”
Missy whispered, "Right, Star? We’ll figure something out!"
Star neighed softly and nudged Missy’s shoulder.
"The girls decide to do everything they can to make sure the ranch stays open.”
Ken said, "Maybe we can sell something to help raise money!"
Sam suggested, "Or host an event, like a petting zoo!"
Brooke smiled, "What about a bake sale? Nana makes the best pies!"
Nana chuckled, "Flattery will get you everywhere, dear!"
Missy grinned, "I love all these ideas! Let’s make a plan!"
"Just then, a little lost puppy appears. His big eyes sparkle with hope, and right in the middle of his forehead—a marking shaped like a four-leaf clover.”
Missy gasped, "Oh, you poor thing! Where did you come from?"
The puppy whimpered softly and wagged his tiny tail. Whit pointed, "Look at that marking! It’s like a lucky clover. He must be extra special."
Missy nodded, "And hungry too! Let’s get him some food."
"Nana always says, ‘Helping others—even animals—is what makes a place special.”
Nana smiled, "Well, this little guy sure found the right place—and with that clover on his forehead, I’d say he was meant to be here."
The puppy nuzzled closer, his tail wagging even faster.
Missy beamed, "Let’s
name him Clover!
Because he’s lucky to be here... and we’re lucky to have him!"
Everyone nodded in agreement, and Clover let out a happy bark.
Missy and the 4 Sisters know one thing for sure—Brite Star Ranch is a safe place for animals, and they will do whatever it takes to keep it that way.”
Mr. G smiled, "You girls have big hearts. If anyone can save this ranch, it’s you."
Missy nodded, "We won’t give up, Dad."
"The next morning, the girls got to work spreading the word."
Sam said, "We need to let the whole town know about our fundraiser!”
Brooke added, "I’ll make an online post so even more people can help!"
Missy smiled, "With everyone working together, we can make this happen!"
"On the day of the fundraiser, people from all over came to support Brite Star Ranch.”
Nana looked around, "It’s wonderful to see the whole town coming together."
Mr. G nodded, "This ranch isn’t just about animals—it’s about community."
Missy beamed, "And together, we can make sure Brite Star Ranch stays a safe place for every animal."
"At the end of the day, the girls counted up their earnings.”
Ken cheered, "We
did it! We raised enough money to buy more food and supplies!"
Missy grinned,
"This is just the beginning. We’ll keep working hard to make Brite Star Ranch the best home for every animal."
