Project Venezuela Contact Irene Casale, Irene.casale@vineyardcolumbus.org, 614.259.5254 There is a severe shortage of food, medicine, and other basic needs in Venezuela. We want to offer some relief to this country by sending some of these necessary items. There will be designated containers at the entrance of the church where you can donate items to ‘Project Venezuela’ for the next several months. These items will then be sent to Venezuelan churches that can distribute them to the populations in greatest need. Please consider participating in this demonstration of God’s love. Specific items needed: • Nonperishable foods: Rice, sugar, pasta, dry beans, corn flour, powdered milk, salt, peanut butter, ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. • Medicines: Tylenol/Motrin, antibiotics, allergy relief, and First Aid supplies. • Babies: Diapers, infant formula, baby food, and wipes. • Hygiene: Soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, shampoo, hair conditioner, toothbrush, and deodorant/antiperspirant.

video series and discussion questions became available, Brian and some members of the previous groups were inspired to reach out. They wanted to invite people who were not involve d in a small group—many weren’t attending church at all. Personally, Brian was excited about the opportunity to throw the net wide. He said he could now break through a barrier he had felt for years. “After 20 years of walking with the Lord, wanting to respond to a call to evangelize in a tangible way, I finally had a way to do it,” says Brian.

After The Good Life, they continued with other another video series and a few even went on a Hocking Hills retreat. Brian and several others have gone from feeling general friendliness towards these acquaintances to a new-found “pastor's heart.” He articulates this transformation in his own words: “I am struck by the simplicity of what we are really called to do. Brian and his friends are working out the details of what the group will look like throughout this next year. They are leaning toward the Alpha format with food and the video series in the same studio office to allow the post-gathering fellowship to continue in the studio or elsewhere in the brewery district. For a group this size, Brian says a quarterly

There were no assigned tables or leadership roles, but often groups of three or four would stick together week after week.
