Soul Provider
Have you ever asked yourself why you say and do things you don’t want to do? Many of us believe our problem is a lack of willpower. We just aren’t trying hard enough because (after all) we really do know better! But the Bible says the root problem is “the flesh”—a power inside each of us that inclines us, bends us, pulls us towards sin. The Bible is brutally honest and very realistic about this battle—one we all must fight—but one God intends for us to win through the power of his spirit. Join us this summer as we together explore “winning the war within.” Spanish translation will be provided. Please join us afterwards for “Happy Hour” in the café!

Support for Life Mental Health Mental illnesses are common. Every year, 9.8 million Americans experience a mental illness so severe that it substantially limits their activities of daily living. Mental illnesses also are treatable. Engaging in early identification and appropriate treatment can relieve much suffering. Yet, for many, the burden of mental illness is intensified by silence and isolation. Through Support for Life, we seek to bring God’s light and love into this darkness. We help struggling individuals and families understand they are not alone, learn more about the illnesses

First as a participant, then as a leader in art, Eamont’s sister Sirey Montufar, age 20, has been in worship club from the beginning. “It’s a way to show what worship is, and it’s not just someone singing up on a stage,” she says. “Worship is praises to God. Worship club is a great way for kids to get connected into Vineyard and not just wait until they are an adult.” She continues, “It’s a great opportunity for kids even if they don’t play an instrument or do anything musical to learn and experience God. It’s made me more connected to God, learning more about him, and how he works through every little thing in life.” Sirey is now a Worship Arts Intern at Vineyard Columbus. “I look up to Lilia a lot.
