The evening will be kicked off with songs from Pastor/musician Sean McMahon of the Community Baptist Church of Gay Head (Aquinnah). Admission is FREE! Donations will be accepted to support the musicians. Bring your friends and family and enjoy traditional Christmas tunes as well as original music that celebrates the reason for the season.

Edgartown Patrolman’s Association Stuff-A-Bus at the Bottom of Main Street

Help the Edgartown Police Department bring joy to island families this season. Bring a gift to their annual StuffA-Bus event. All toys will be donated to the Red Stocking Fund, which ensures the toys donated go to local families.

They cannot accept electronic gifts (tablets, cell phones, video games, etc.). Most requested items include: Legos, action figures, baby dolls, sports equipment, and bikes. If you cannot make it to Christmas in Edgartown, donations can be dropped off at the Police Department starting December 1st. They will be in the Edgartown Yacht Club parking lot. No Room at the Inn - the second annual crèche exhibition at the Federated Church of Martha’s Vineyard will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Martha’s Vineyard. Over 30 crèches will be shown in their historic 1828 Meeting House. The Creches or small tableaus represent the stable where Jesus was born when his family could find “no room in the Inn.” Learn about Habitat and support their cause with a silent auction featuring a wonderful selection of over 20 donated items.

Holiday Hustle at The Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club

The Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club is excited to be hosting the “Holiday Hustle” as part of the Christmas in Edgartown festivities! All ages and levels are encouraged to run or walk this 5k course that weaves through downtown Edgartown. We encourage you to show your holiday spirit by wearing festive holiday attire, awards will be given for best dressed. Dogs and strollers are welcomed!

The pre-race entrance fee is $30.00 for the 5k and $10.00 for the Kids’ Fun Run. Day of registration is $35.00 for the 5k and $15.00 for the Fun Run and will be available from 7:30-8:30 on December 11th at the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club. Early bib pick-up and in person registration is on Saturday, December 10th from 1-2pm at the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club. All proceeds go directly to supporting the work of the Martha’s Vineyard Boys and Girls Club.
