HAVE A HOLLY-JOLLY Holiday

The Vineyard elves have been busy this year, working overtime to make the season a holly-jolly one. Oak Bluffs is aglow, Christmas in Edgartown has a full dance card, and Vineyard Haven has brought back Thursday evening shopping hours. From the Capawock to Featherstone, the Strand Theatre to the Grange Hall, artisan fairs and markets dazzle with more trinkets than even the Grinch could fit in his sack.

We’ve made our lists, and now that we’ve got the holiday catalogue in hand, we’re checking them twice - and making our shopping plans.

With apologies to Burl Ives, we don’t know if there’ll be snow, but we’ll have a cup of cheer. When we walk down the street, we’ll say hello to friends and everyone we know. Oh, Oh, the mistletoe!
