AT THE MARCH 2023 EXECUTIVE MEETING, WORKSHOPOS WERE HELD TO DISCUSS, AND PROPOSE A BOARD STRUCTURE THAT WOULD ALIGN WITH THE REQUIRMENTS OF THEINCORPORATED SOCIETIES ACT 2022, WITH THE FOLLOWING THREE OUTCOMES

Board Of 10 Members

President – Elected for 3 years – for a maximum of 2 terms

Hon – Secretary/Treasurer – Appointed by the Board 3 years – for a maximum of 2 terms

Registrar – Appointed by the Board for a 3 year term – reappointment for further terms by the Board. Note: this is a specialised posi�on and it may be in the VCC’s interest to retain a person for more than 2 terms

3 Regional Representa�ves from the North Island who also take on the role of Club Captains (area to be determined) – Elected by members in that region for 3 year term –maximum of 2 terms

3 Regional Representa�ves from the South Island who also take on the role of Club Captains (area to be determined) – Elected by members in that region for 3 year term –maximum of 2 terms

Beaded Wheel Chairman 9on the Board but with non-vo�ng rights) - Appointed by the Board for 3 year term – reappointment for further terms by Board. Note: this is a specialised posi�on and it may be in the VCC’s interest to retain a person for more than 2 terms
