Story & Photography by Tony Centonze Tiffany Perkins recently hosted BLK Business & Organization Expo, a chance for people to come out and learn about local organizations and businesses that are helping to move the culture forward. The event, which took place at the Emmanuel Family Life Center was free and open to the public. “We’ve been celebrating BLK Clarksville Week with a series of events,” Perkins said. “Today, we have about 35 - 40 black-owned businesses showing off their products and services, as well as some local non-profits sharing information about their organizations and what they do in the community.”
