Deanna McLaughlin, chairman of Clarksville-Montgomery County Crime Stoppers held a press conference recently to announce the group’s decision to increase the reward offered to $5,000, for tips that help solve homicide cold cases. The announcement came after a recent unanimous vote by the Crime Stoppers Board. The reward amount was increased from $1,000 to $5,000 and will be paid for anonymous tips that lead to an arrest or conviction related to unsolved homicides prior to 2018.
