Story & Photography by Tony Centonze Dr. Leslie Hiatt recently presented Mystery, Passion and Chocolate: The Scientific Method upstairs at Strawberry Alley, part of APSU’s ongoing Science on Tap series. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Dr. Hiatt shared her research on whether or not chocolate is an aphrodisiac. Guests at the event became detectives, trying to solve an escape game mystery. The invitation teased: “When passion and chocolate are everywhere, will you be like Holmes and listen to the data, or will you be distracted by your desires?” Science on Tap takes place the first Tuesday of every month, September through May, at 5:30 p.m. at Strawberry Alley Ale Works.
