PREDATORS ANNOUNCE F&M NAMING RIGHTS TO MPEC

Story & Photography by Tony Centonze The Franklin Room at F & M Bank was the site of a major announcement regarding naming rights for Clarksville’s new Multi-Purpose Event Center, which involved leadership from the City and County, the Nashville Predators, Austin Peay State University Athletics, and F & M Bank itself.

Predator’s President and CEO Sean Henry said, “We look forward to building an iconic brand together, and working together for decades.” Mayors Jim Durrett and Joe Pitts, both took their turns at the podium, expressing their excitement about this project and what’s to come.

“This is an exciting day for Clarksville-Montgomery County, our community, and F & M Bank, but really it’s an exciting day for APSU Athletics,” APSU Athletics Director Gerald Harrison said. “Having an opportunity to move into the best basketball venue in the country means so much. That building will be a lighthouse for college athletics.”

F & M Bank President/CEO Sammy Stuard shared his thoughts as well. “This certainly is an exciting day for us. We’ve been in this community for more than 30 years, and we’ve been able to watch our bank grow alongside Clarksville-Montgomery County. This has become one of the best places to live in the U.S.”

“We love being here and being part of it, and we like to be called on in order to help. When this project was announced and they started digging at the site, we talked about it, and said, it has to have one name on top of it - F&M Bank.”
