Raising Money to Benefit Foster Children
TStory & Photography by Jeff Watson he 1st Annual Catwalk for the Kids Fashion Show held recently received incredible love and support from the community. This first year charity event raised over $5,000 for area foster children in need. As attendees arrived, they enjoyed light bites and fun drinks while they perused the pop up shops provided by several local businesses.
As the event unfolded, a fun fashion show entertained the guest with pieces provided by Bleached Babes, Boo Boo Bol USA and Saint Lucile Fashion Boutique. Hair and makeup for the models was provided by Pure & Couture Salon. All proceeds from the ticket sales benefit the Guardian AD Litem Foundation.
The funds revised from this event go directly towards providing foster children in need with suitcases, toiletries and other essential items. Hard work from many volunteers helped to create a fun event for everyone in attendance with plans to become an annual tradition!
