Celebrating the Memorial Day holiday weekend in Alys Beach, Sunday, May 29 at 7:30pm, orchestra lovers grabbed a spot in the amphitheater, with families and friends, to enjoy the “Sinfonia Goes Pops” concert. The “doors” opened at 6pm, and a sea of picnic blankets and low back chairs already filled the lawn - some of which had been set up in the morning hours. The Sinfonia Gulf Coast performed a lovely array of favorite patriotic songs, movie soundtracks, broadway tunes and light classics.
