Marble’s strength or leather’s grace
The desk is completed with two different types of hovering worktops. One, which ages gracefully, is made of refined Italian leather in Bosco green combined with a walnut frame, and the other is in Ocean grey marble, featuring signature white veins and natural beauty marks, such as fossils, which give the table a sophisticated play of colours. Made from Dolomite stone, a material more resistant than traditional marble, this durable stone top is ideal for a desk that will withstand daily use.
Elegant frame in polished aluminum
Made to match the Vipp Swivel chair, the desk features a casted aluminium frame and joints that mirror those found on the chair.
360-degree perspective
Made to be viewed from all angles, whether freestanding or placed against a wall.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS & MAINTENANCE
Characteristics
Marble stone is a natural material, and each marble plate is inimitable. Varied visual expressions of the marble are to be expected.
Ocean Grey marble
The grey stone is a dolomite which is a hard and resistant marble. Vipp Ocean grey is a type of limestone which is compacted over millions of years, leaving a lot of details, like white veins, red marks from iron and minerals, glass veins, and long ‘cracks’ from ancient earthquakes which are filled with resin. The stone has shades of grey varying from light grey to dark grey. Fossils and other natural marks are often seen which gives the stone a nice play.
Finish
Honed (matte) and sealed with natural impregnation slightly enhancing the colour yet leaving a protected and matte surface.
Frame and legs
The four-legged frame is made from polished and passivated aluminium. The surface is susceptible for scratches, wear, and tear, which is to be considered as patina.
The polished finish should not be mistaken for a mirror-finish. True to the material, brushing and polishing lines will be visible on the product from certain angles.
Marble stain removal
Remove the stain immediately using a lint-free cleaning cloth with warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid using dusting sprays or abrasive cleaners. In case of serious damage contact a professional polisher.
Polished aluminium surfaces
Keep surfaces clean and dry. No acidy or abrasive cleaning agents can be used. Clean using a glass cleaning agent and polish with a dry clean cloth to remove any marks and residue from the cleaning agent.
