The carefully designed sustainable environments are essential for delivery of quality childcare and early education services. The majority of children spend at least part of the day in school setting outsideof the home, many schools operate for 6 hours a day or longer. Because this time is such an important part of the child’s overall physical, cognitive and social development, it is essential that these physical environments nurture and support activities for healthy growth and learning.
