Do we really want people like this representing Americans in America if they are not willing to stand up for our friends and neighbors?
If we purchase a ton of steel rails from England for twenty dollars, then we have the rails and England the money. But if we buy a ton of steel rails from an American for twenty five dollars, then America has the rails and the money both.

ll of us want to see our children have a better future than we did which means that we ought to do our homework and see where the jobs are so that we can help them prepare for their future. Problem is, how do you do that? Hopefully we can do our part and make it easier for you. The Bureau of Labor Statistics has a web site that has a wealth of information about this subject. In 2012 we had a total employment figure of 130,287,700 million for all job categories (this does not include the self employed) The chart to the right will show how many jobs there are in each category. “What this country needs as much as anything else are newspapers that believe in moral principles and have enough courage to express these principles and point out practices and beliefs that violate moral principles. A newspaper that only tries to run editorials and columnists and news items that are popular is of mighty little value to its readers. R.C. Hoiles Page Number: 1

The New Yorker article didn’t quote Sen. Rubio, but did quote one of his aides who said: There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it.

None of us want a big government. But, if government is unable to go head to head with the extreme wealth of the business community, then who will be able to maintain this balance? This is why we have regulations.

This is why the only duties of our government should be to balance the scales via the necessary regulations to protect our economy, our people, and our environment.

We have slowly witnessed the results of our Free Trade Agreements and I believe the majority of Americans now realize that these Free Trade Agreements do not favor Americans in America. This does not mean that we do not need global trade.

We believe these three simple rules will do that:
It is OK to grow, raise or manufacture your products here in America and sell them to other countries and the same applies to those countries.
It is OK to open retail or manufacturing branches in other countries to offset the shipping problems as long as you hire the locals to work in those countries.
It is NOT OK to put the people in your country out of work, send the growing, raising or manufacturing to another country and then import those products back into your country.
I believe the three main duties of a chamber of commerce should be to: 1. Support the existing businesses in the community that they operate in, or in the country that they operate in. 2. Attract new businesses to their community, or country. 3. Promote their community, or country.

idal waves can be started by a single action.
If ten people in ten of our largest cities were to volunteer to pass out 100 copies of this newspaper in the neighborhood surrounding their capital building, or place ten copies at ten convenience stores, do you think that might start a tidal wave? How about if they did it every week for ten weeks? Or for a hundred weeks?

H
ow many of your remember when AT&T was broken up into six companies?
That was done because they had gotten too big, wasn’t it? Have you wondered why this has not happened to Monsanto or Walmart? After all, many people are questioning what Monsanto is doing to our future, and we’ve already seen that Walmart has forced most of our small businesses out of business. While it is nice to have large companies like Walmart, if I had to choose between Walmart or jobs for our people, I would choose the people side every time. Would you? For example, I recently went into Home Depot to buy some charcoal as I like those two bag packages that home depot has. When I got to the check out counter, there was a lady ringing people up, but when it came time to pay, they had to go to one of those self pay machines. Needless to say, I walked out without buying anything simply because I refuse to do business with a machine when so many Americans are unemployed.

Trust me, they realize that without the American and European market, they will have very few customers, and if we set the bar, other countries, once they realize that they are receiving zero taxes, and nothing else from Apple, will follow suit.
How many times have you heard the people in our media and government and business say that we have to compete globally? For those that are wanting to wean our politicians off of the corporate teat, this is Compete with what: their Achilles heel and they know it. Compete with employees in China and India that make an average of $1.47 per hour with sixteen hour days seven days per week?

No thank you—If we did that, we would be living in homes that cost less than 100 per month to rent because that is all that we could afford, and you would only be able to sell your home for $5,000.00 or less because nobody made enough to afford it.
Compete on quality?
Hell, even Haines had them beat way back when that little ole lady said it don’t say Haines until I say it says Haines
And I’m not even going to mention the sheetrock, or the pigs floating down the river
Tell me. What are we competing with? We had the American dream with opportunity for everybody, whether they were a natural born citizen or an immigrant wanting to move here. And we let multinational corporations send it all offshore. And now companies like Apple will tell us that they don’t owe any taxes and it is not their obligation to fix America’s problems. Which makes me wonder why we do not give them a very simple ultimatum. You can work with us to fix the problems that you have created, or you can take all of your employees, from the top to the bottom, and renounce your citizenship and move to whatever country you want to work out of with one minor stipulation. Nobody in America, citizen or business, will be allowed to buy your products as finished goods, or as components in any finished goods. Page Number: 4

And I would further characterize it as a punch in the face to the middle class of America. I think that’s fair to say from what I’ve seen so far. But I’m

ladder called opportunity.
One of the things that we took for granted was that we could work our way up as high as we wanted in any company or organization in America. If we could do the job, they wanted us. All of us were born with this opportunity. I call it a ladder called opportunity because it leads to different levels that reach as high as the ambition that you have. What made America wonderful was that you didn’t have to climb any higher than you wanted too. At any point, if you reached a level that offered you the lifestyle that you wanted, you could stay there and nobody thought the worse of you. And, if you wanted to climb higher, and you were willing to acquire the skills necessary via on the job training, or formal education, you had the opportunity to climb as high as you wanted which made most of us say that this is the best damned country in the World. Sometime around 2000 it began to change. Suddenly, if you didn’t have a college degree, you weren’t qualified for anything.
