ARTISANAL DISTILLERY
Fondé en 1995 le Domaine Mavela s’est rapidement imposé comme une référence nationale dans la production d’eau de vie et de liqueur de fruit : Prune, Myrte, Cédrat et Châtaigne. Récompensé par plusieurs Médailles d’or et d’argent dans différents concours internationaux, elle est aujourd’hui présente dans les endroits les plus prestigieux ainsi que dans les plus grands guides francais : Michelin et Gault Millau. C’est en l’an 2000 que la collaboration avec la brasserie Pietra a abouti à l’élaboration du whisky reconnu très rapidement par la profession et salué par une note de 91/100 dans la bible du whisky de Jim Murray. Qualité, identité, savoir faire sont les trois préceptes du Domaine Mavela. Founded in 1995 the Domain Mavela quickly stood out as a national reference in the production of brandy and liqueur of fruit: Plum, Myrte, Citron and Chestnut. Rewarded by some gold and silver medal in different international competition, it’s present in the most prestigious places as well in the most famous French guides: Michelin and Gault Millau. It is in the year 2000 when the collaboration with the brewery Pietra succeeded in the elaboration of the whiskey recognized very quickly by the profession and greeted by a note of 91/100 in the Jim Murray’s whiskey bible. Quality, identity and expertise are the three rules of the Domain Mavela.

Le whisky est le Fruit de l’association de deux savoir faire Corse : la brasserie Pietra et la distillerie Mavela. Brassé à Furiani avec un mélange de Malt à Pietra, puis distillé et élevé en futs de chêne adouci à l’eau de source et assemblé au Domaine Mavela à Aleria. The whiskey is the result of the association of two Corsican expertise : the brewery Pietra and the Mavela distillery. Brewed in Furiani with a mixture of Pietra’s malt , then distilled and raised in barrels of oak, softened by spring water and assembled in the Domaine Mavela in Aleria.
