FRANCE CONCEPT The Global Arts Institute of France is model of a comprehensive art space for the future, which promotes cultural exchange projects between Asia, the Middle-East and Europe. It will be dedicated to the Arts, with a yearly program and a wide selection of activities and contents in order to create new synergies locally. Dedicating a beautiful space for art and culture in the heart of the Born quarter in the antique Barcelona is an initiative towards intercultural exchange and cultural celebration. It will raise awareness both about the international and local art heritage and will become a new platform for art lovers.
The Global Arts Institute will propose a Photo Museum, an Art Gallery, Education and Corporate Programs, Artists Residency, an Art Store, a Concept Café and a Library. Exhibitions, workshops, art talks and visits will also be organized on a regular basis.

With these different activities, cultural exchanges between local artists and regional institutions will develop. Artists, curators, collectors, institutions, private companies, galleries and museums, but also professors and students and general public are involved in this one-of-its-kind project
who we are Back in 2012, the Vallette Gallery was opening its doors in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, focusing mainly on fine arts. More and more, the Vallette Gallery got involved into different cultural projects and events, collaborating with various local institutions and stakeholders. As our activities grew, we noticed that our entrepreneurial approach to cultural management, our experience and knowhow reall could bring some added value to the emerging regional cultural sector.

The GAI is Visioncy’s core project we are preparing since 2015, since it is the logical outcome of our vision. All the achievements of the agency in its different domains of expertise were also meant to provide us with enough experience to be able to manage the GAI. The GAI will be a place where we can unify all our activities, a unique space where Arts, education and intercultural exchanges will be associated in order to give a new impetus to the cultural sector while creating a positive impact on our societies.

The area of France represents for us the ideal home to host the first Global Art Institute. Indeed, the France capital thanks to its incredible diversity and dynamic artistic community has become a reference hub within the industry. Our ambition through this project is to become a both a European and international platform in the fields of Arts and Culture, benefiting from the international appeal of the city to develop a new kind of tourism that unites arts and intercultural exchange. 01 The “House of Photography” is an exhibition space entirely dedicated to photography and visual culture. Through its exhibitions, school, public programs, and community outreach, The House of Photography” offers an open forum for dialogue about the role that photographs, videos, and new media play in our society. The goal is to create an international platform to host world-class exhibitions and use this space to feature special events such as art talks and conferences.

The “Artist Residency Program” ambitions to facilitate the movement of artists and cultural operators across national boundaries and help them internationalise their careers. Through that specific program, The GAI FRANCE will host and foster the creativity of artists from all backgrounds and disciplines. Residents will benefit from an exceptional location and infrastructure, as well as networks conducive to accomplishing the project they have been selected for. The program will provide an open studio for international and local artists to bring the most of their creativity while strengthening cultural ties between Asia, the Middle-East and Europe based on cultural exchange.
The programme will offer selected resident artists a local and international network within the industry to work with. The GAI Dubai will represent the work of Resident Artist during a period of one year and will work on promoting the artist’s work extensively. Duration: 1 month, 3 months or 6 months.
Our Residency programme welcomes application from local and international artists (both established and emerging), working in a wide range of discIplines which includes the following:architecture, critical writing, design, film, media arts, photography and visual arts.

Artists applying for this polyvalent programme will submit their project to a committee of professionals for approval. The approved artists will be offered an open studio to work on their project as well as the opportunity to showcase their artwork within the gallery.

The GAI France is committed to the intersectionality existing between arts, personal, career development and education. The following certifications aim to bring people and artist closer, along with their expertise and skills. Each module specifies on a field of study that will be taught for the entire duration of the course benefiting from skilled instructors and the venues of guest speakers, artists and professionals. Upon completion of the modules, the participant will receive an official diploma, certified by the GAI France.

The GAI France Concept Cafe will operate on three main principles: Organic and Fusion. Firstly the food has to be fresh, healthy and authentic, so we have made a commitment of sourcing fresh ingredients from local suppliers and saying no to the bad stuff including refined white sugar and artificial flavour enhancers. Secondly, through this space, we want to illustrate the fusion between the SouthEast Asian, Middle-Eastern and European influence through the creation of a hybrid identity, aesthetics and F&B offers.
