LEGAL SERVICES CASE STUDY 1 September 2009 A mid-size NW based firm of solicitors was experiencing issues with client facing teams not generating enough leads and therefore fees each month. Maintaining a culture of innovation and clarity of thought was important to them so it was essential that their client facing teams reflect these values.
Our approach to these issues was to develop a bespoke programme with the following components: •
Development of unique strengths, skills and motivating factors
•
Positive mindset
•
Networking skills for the modern age
•
Learning how to listen
•
The art of questioning
•
How to find solutions to problems and deliver a personal 5 star service.
•
Setting goals for the team to ‘self develop’ and help develop others.
The programme was delivered to an initial 20 fee earners over 5 weeks (5 half days).
What’s the Return on Investment? The programme investment was £9,995 in total. The estimated new value created was calculated at £250,000 therefore the Return on Investment was calculated at 25:1 over a 12 month period at the lowest end of the range estimate.
