SPECIAL EDITION 1921 SUNGLASSES CELEBRATE 90 ICONIC YEARS Gucci is pleased to introduce special edition 1921 sunglasses, part of an exclusive collection conceived to celebrate its 90th anniversary. Designed by Creative Director Frida Giannini, the model pays homage to the icons, craftsmanship, and luxury materials for which the House has become renowned since its founding in Florence by Guccio Gucci in 1921. Completely covered in natural leather, the special edition women’s sunglasses feature an elegant, large upsweep shape and glass lenses. An 18-carat gold plaque on the left temple carries a new engraved trademark, G. GUCCI Firenze 1921. The model is available in three colours – cherry, beige, and brown – and comes with a leather case. A commemoration of 90 iconic years, the exclusive 1921 sunglasses will debut in Gucci boutiques worldwide from July and at select opticians from September.
