Oktoberfest wristbands are on sale for $12.00 . The three-day admission wristbands will be sold at the Chippewa Falls Chamber /Visitors Center and all Northwestern Bank locations.

School2Skills Tour - One Student’s Story For three years, the Chamber and the area schools have partnered with local businesses and Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) to inspire more than 150 students, parents and educators to learn more about manufacturing, healthcare and STEM careers available in Chippewa Falls. Two years ago, Hunter Sullivan took one of the School2Skills tours with his Technical Education class from Chi Hi. At Advanced Laser Machining, he asked, “How do I get a job here?” He left with an job application in his hand and was hired a few weeks later. While working , he enrolled in the Machine Tool classes at CVTC and is on track to graduate from the program in August.

Chamber News Chamber Welcomes New Programs Director The Chippewa Falls Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome Maranda Mahr as their new Programs Director. After five years working with the River Falls Chamber of Commerce, Maranda is excited to utilize her experience planning, promoting and executing events and programs in addition to Maranda Mahr membership communication and Programs Director support. Maranda will be organizing the 15th Annual Oktoberfest this year. She looks forward to building relationships and working with the passionate and dedicated volunteer groups to plan this great community event.

Congratulations to the Leadership Chippewa Falls Class of 2016-2017 The Leadership Chippewa Falls program acquaints participants with a broad understanding of community issues and civic challenges facing our community. Each month participants were exposed to one sector of the Chippewa Falls community. They had an opportunity to meet key leaders in these areas, discuss the challenges within the community and determine how these challenges might be resolved. Congratulations to these community leaders!

Oktoberfest News Oktoberfest donated $25,000 for Riverfront Park Oktoberfest not only draws people to Chippewa Falls for a great family weekend but it also gives back by donating money to the volunteer groups that help make Oktoberfest possible. Each year, Oktoberfest has been able to donate $25,000 to volunteer groups that donated their time to the event. This year, Oktoberfest is thrilled to be able to make an additional donation of $25,000 to support the Riverfront Development project. Heather Grube , Oktoberfest 2017 Chair,
